The Alpha's Cure
We make eye contact, and she says, "You're beautiful, Lucy. Mother Earth can do so much more with you than a meeting."
"I don't understand."
"I live closer to the metro Detroit area. If you want, I can introduce you to what and who I know."
Grinning, I say, "I'd like that."
More often than not, Nika and I would meet alone. She'd share incantations and make things happen. One evening, while at Kleery Lake, I asked, "Where are the rest of the members of your organization?"
She gazes into the water and answers, "They're around, but I'm rebuilding. They no longer believe what I do. They're into dark things, but I'm about balance and justice."
