Karthik and I never talked much because we are from completely different departments of our school; he was a bully and I was a nerd. He was the scariest person on the whole campus when angry and everyone knew that. Everyone respected him because they were scared. The girls always drooled over him, honoring him as the hottest and meanest boy at school. It was very scary because his little gang's first target will be of course the nerds. Be it a boy or girl they always targeted them asking for money, completing their notes, for entertainment, and other accompanied junk known as ragging. Karthik never took part in any of these, he'd just stand there quietly watching what his friends were doing.

Although the other two nerds did sit there and did answer whatever the professor asked of, but Maya always caught the last desk to avoid the eyes and paper balls that the bullies of the class purposely threw aiming for nerds and only answered if any professor decided to bug her. There were only three nerds from which only two got bullied including Maya. The other unfortunate nerd was named Veer Deshpande, poor guy he always would get caught up with the high class and they'd get all their frustration on him. The bully mocked, as the others in the hall laughed. "You're such a loser! Everything about you smells failure, you're a fucking shithead! And a pathetic son of whore, a stupid mistake!" Dan spat, enjoying every sign of pain on the nerd's face.
