The room was dark, a dim light casting a soft glow. The scent of sandalwood mixed with something else, something I couldn't place my finger on, filled the air. It was sweet and masculine, addictive. “Natalia," Cassian spoke, his hard gaze fixed on me. "We can both agree this is an unfortunate situation." I scoffed, glaring daggers at him. "But like I said, I'll be honouring the moon goddess. So you have no choice but to comply." He continued.

He was hiding because he'd lost someone. "I'm Nira." "I know." "You do?" He nodded toward the hallway. "You're hard to miss these days." "...Fair." I sighed. "I'm Cassian." He held out his hand. I shook it. "So..." I leaned against the shelf. "If we're both searching...maybe we stop searching alone." Cassian studied me for a long moment. Then he reached into his notebook. "...Where did you get this?" "I made it." "You mapped all this yourself?"

Noah was leaning his back against a stack of gym mats, his training jacket unzipped to the waist as he unlaced his running flats. He heard the door creak open before he saw who it was, the sudden bright wedge of daylight cutting across the dusty floorboards before the wood clicked shut again. Cassian stood against the door, his hands tucked loosely into the pockets of his dark trousers. He looked exactly like he always did hair slightly messy, his school collar undone at the throat, and an unbothered, lazy tilt to his chin that usually drove the track team crazy.

It was almost midnight and yet for these people, the night was still young. Leila was sitting on a couch with a friend who was wearing a face mask. “Cass, how can you drink if you’re not going to take it off?” Cassiel shook his head and answered, “We’re currently promoting, I cannot be photographed with you…” Cassiel Chua is part of the famous boy group Luna. He is one of the four attractive and talented members of the group. With their massive fame, he can easily be recognized by people. Leila looked at him stupidly and asked, “Then why’d you go out?”

Nathan said to them. "Oh is that all, we figured that out a couple of day's ago who cares full or half she is still one of us and an important member of this team," Jakob said smiling. "That is good," Nathan said holding Cassie. "Are you sure you have all the tools you need Nathan?" Cassie asked. "Yes, why do you ask?" Nathan asked her. "Do you mind if I have a look please?" Cassie asked. "Come on guys let's go open the crates to satisfy Lady Cassie." Nathan said. Cassie grabbed a pencil and paper and made a list of everything they had then made another list and passed it to Nathan.

"Oh, let me tell you guys! Thomasina's beauty spa got totally trashed today, and her niece got beaten black and blue. And then she actually went and slapped Rowena..." Cassian sat quietly on the couch, but his mind was completely stuck on one single thought: Xander went to see Trista tonight. Feeling incredibly irritated, Cassian stood up. "You guys catch up. I'm heading out." Back at his own place, Cassian paced restlessly in front of his floor-to-ceiling windows. Every few seconds, he'd open Trista's W******p chat, only to stare at it. He had no idea what to say.

On top of that, there’s the issue with Nick—he was furious when he found out about us, and I can’t predict how he’ll act today. “You look beautiful,” Cassian says, his smile broad. He’s dressed impeccably in a tailored Armani suit, the perfect picture of elegance and poise. “Thank you,” I reply, matching his smile. “Anxious?” he asks, effortlessly reading my emotions like he always does. “A little,” I admit, trying to sound calm. “I took a Xanax a few minutes ago, so I’ll be fine.” I can see the concern flicker in his eyes, like he wants to say something more, but he just nods.

I murmur, half laughing, half horrified. “Watch me.” A knock interrupts us. The door opens a crack. Cassian’s head appears, followed by the tray in his hands. “Room service,” he says. “Today’s special: mystery stew and existential dread.” Naomi doesn’t miss a beat. “Do you come with a drink menu, or just the dread?” “I’d offer wine, but you’re already making enough questionable decisions sober.” She scowls. “Do you practice being this annoying, or is it a natural talent?”

Zara’s POV I let out a low sigh. “Be honest with me, what kind of man is Cassian, really?” She hesitated. “He’s ambitious… and good looking,” she said carefully, as though choosing her words with precision. “Nana,” I pressed, leaning forward, “be honest.” Her lips tightened. “The last time I was honest with you, you nearly got me fired,” she said, a forced smile flickering across her face. I gave a small smile. “I’m sorry about that, Nana. That won’t happen this time. I need to know the truth before I get my memory back.”
