Enough Is Enough
I didn’t have the strength to argue with him, but as soon as I got in the car, a wave of pain hit my stomach, making me go pale.
I dug through my bag for my medicine and realized I was almost out.
“I’m low on meds. We need to stop by the hospital first.”
James stared at me blankly. “You’re sick?”
“Yeah. Stomach problems.”
“When did this happen?”
His question caught me off guard, and I let out a bitter laugh.
Before I met him, my diet and sleep schedule were pretty normal. However, after we got together, every time Paris found some excuse to drag him away, I’d fall into this pit of self-doubt and depression until I stopped eating and talking.
