Love’s POV The next day... I got up early, mostly because I was not able to sleep. The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. I still had a hard time processing what I was doing. I hadn't felt this conflicted in a long time. The weight of the lies pressed against me like a second skin. I knew why, it was to save this roof over our heads and help Mira put food on our table yet still I wish I didn't have to lie in order to do that. I hate that I am lying to Christian, to Sebastian and God only knows how many more people are going to get sucked into this.
