They only wanted a sacrifice to make Rachel’s life better. Now that Rachel was getting her just desserts, they wanted me to forgive her? How ridiculous. I pulled my hand back and smirked at them. “I told you, our ties were severed from the moment you disowned me. Don’t bother trying to emotionally blackmail me— You’re not worthy.” They turned pale. I looked at their expressions of despair and felt nothing but irony. In the end, Rachel lost her mind. Jason was permanently paralyzed. The Gordons lost everything. Everyone got what they deserved, and the dust settled.

Everything with a hint of cold was me. Humming my favorite tune of Pied Piper by BTS, a Korean boy group band, I dried myself off with a towel. Wearing my clothes for the day, I tied my wet hair in a messy bun. Wet hair and buns is the best combo. Applying a little bit of makeup which consisted of blush, mascara and a lip gloss with a maroon shade of matte lipstick in the middle of the lower lip made my look complete. Atlas I wore my golden rings on the middle and index fingers, a pair of small hoops and my favorite pendant which was gifted by my father when I was little. Basically I never took the pendant off. It was a part of me. The pendant had the letters V&C on it.

He pointed at Andrius and commanded the old man to kill him. “Young Master Crestfall, a piece of cake.” The old man cupped his fists at Cain before he headed to Andrius. He said as he walked closer, “Kid, I am Ulysse Nevermore, a pseudo-martial artist.” He sounded proud and his gaze at Andrius was full of disdain. “I cultivated the Nine Yin Skeleton Claws, and I have mastered it to perfection.”

His eyes darkened, surrounded by mist, just like his brother Allen had described. "This is how it gets whenever he is angry. He becomes something worse than a beast and the only way his anger is soothed is if someone dies and someone must die." Alexa knew there was no escaping this. She would die. It would take a miracle for her to survive. 'oh dear moon goddess, do not let me die. Help me' she prayed silently.

My jaw was slack. Pretty Boy smirked. “I assure you, Miss, I shit you not. There may be a cold war, an all-out war brewing, but my people – they are dying of a sickness; a pestilence. It renders them mute and unmoving” He took a deep breath. “But it is not starvation that takes them; their bodies enter some state of rigor. Paralysed and curled in on themselves like the victims of Pompeii... It would seem their organs implode one by one as their nervous systems fight to keep them abnormally still. They decompose within days – our medicine; modern medicine even – they do nothing. We are left simply watching them cease to exist.”

His body was aflame and his hardness was going really rigid when his phone chirped. Lan reluctantly paused and pulled out of the kisses. Fiona's cheeks blushed as she felt shy at her sudden vulnerability in Lan's arms. Lan answered his phone and when he hung up, he said “Jeniva Manor has become a blacklisted artist in the Starlight entertainment industry. Meanwhile, investigation is ongoing on the cause of death of Scorpion's men . I have this strong intuition that they were poisoned and the mastermind behind this act cannot be far from that cousin of yours” he informed.
