Hello readers! First of all, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your continued support and for embarking on this journey with me. Writing "The Rise of the Omega Supreme - book 1" has been an incredible experience, and I'm thrilled to bring you the second installment of this series.

The woman's eyebrows tightened as she said, "Are you saying that the Skygale Sect is going to annihilate us once and for all? They have the backup in the Violet Manor. I'm afraid that we can't win if we confront them head-on." The old man gave her a cold glance and said, "I've told you to read some books. Do you know anything about The Annihilation Times? The Annihilation Times is the end of the entire cultivation world. All cultivators will go into the Samsara and start all over again. As mighty as the Skygale Sect is, they will be doomed!" The woman nodded slightly and said, "I see. Since everybody is going to die, what are you worrying about then?"

"She got infected, turned into one of those things, and I was forced to put her down. And... I- it was after, the autopsy reported revealed that she was three weeks pregnant," "I am so sorry," I whispered, biting my inner cheeks, I might can't remember but I imagine having to take the life of the person you love, "But other from that," He cheerfully added, "I have a nephew who is too kind, too stupid and I don't even know how he survived the apocalypse... But he did. And- I am going to pick up as soon as I ID you, he is an essential worker, a graveyard caretaker..."

[hey guys! let's start book 3, shall we? LOl. Merry Christmas everybody! so before we begin book 3, I realized the version of Apod on Good novel (book 2) is the only one that didn't have this chapter. I must have forgotten to post it and for that I'm sorry. Whilst it will take away nothing from book 2, I feel it is essential for Character development and just a recap of some elements in book 1. Please note that the events of this chapter took place in book 2.]

It simply disintegrated, then reappeared back in the car. “Sick bastard,” I spat. He'd been stalking me. I tore a slim black book from the rat pile. Book of Psychopomps was etched on it in gold ink. Numbers, emails, and old-fashioned addresses accompanied names, written in no apparent order. I rifled through the pages: “Old farts: ODIN, MORRIGAN, YAMA, HERMES....” and “New pests: ANAESTHESIA, AIDS, SANTA MUERTE...” A red ribbon marked a page at the back. “Accessories: SHANNON PARKER.”

I heard a mutated beast swallowed him during a supply raid before he could even seek revenge. Five years later, as the first rays of sunlight pierced through the thick clouds and shone upon the earth, an excited voice blared over the loudspeaker. "Attention survivors! The National Academy of Sciences has successfully developed a serum to kill the zombie virus! The apocalypse is over! We have won!" Cheers erupted from the base. I stood on the city wall, watching the sun slowly rise in the distance. My parents, still full of energy, stood beside me. Dad patted my shoulder, saying with a grin, "Sweetie, how about we have a feast to celebrate tonight?"

Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, I looked out at the apartment building in the distance. Flames were shooting into the sky, and faint screams carried through the air. Linda and Tyler had hidden from the zombies by climbing into a dumpster downstairs. They were curled up in the reeking trash, shivering as they fought over half a moldy bread roll someone had thrown away. Meanwhile, I took a sip of hot soup, warmth spreading through my whole body. This was what apocalypse life was supposed to feel like. Over the next three days, I followed Duke’s guidance and swept up supplies from nearly half the city.

It was the ultimate wipe-out skill. Watching the scene unfold, a trace of fanatic excitement flashed in my eyes. I had gambled right. In this apocalypse where all order had collapsed, Ruth was the strongest cheat code, the biggest powerhouse I could cling to. And Callie’s armored vehicle? What was that compared to this?

After returning to Camp Arthor, I settled all of Sasha's paperwork and placed her at the hospital while Leo stayed by my side and followed me around. "You know that you don't have to keep following me around, don't you? I'm just a regular researcher now," I said with a sigh. After arriving at this base camp, the water crisis had been temporarily resolved for now. But there was an even greater challenge on the way, and it required more attention. Every researcher was desperately trying to find a way to end the apocalypse.
