Using the money I had, I bought myself clothes that wouldn't just cover me but also help me through harsh conditions. Did I mention that without the sun, Sloradath would turn into a frozen city? And that made it worse because the zombies thrived in cold weather. Heat wore them out but without the sun and without gas, how could people fight against them?

There was something about him that made Jasper think that he just might be able to help him like once things settled down. If his information was correct, unlike the vampires and werewolves, the zombies weren’t sent from another dimension. They were humans whose humanity went bad. But humans tried by all means to avoid contacts with any of them. They fortified themselves in the hills of the main lands of Salama and the Barbarian plateaux. They built forts around themselves, and the valleys on either side of the main lands helped them fight off any invading aliens and other intruders.
