Everyone stood around the outside of the circle holding their candles. Magenta stepped into the center of the circle. “Members of the Moon Shadow Pack, we are gathered tonight before the Moon Goddess, Selene, to humbly ask that Princess Brenna Sutton join the ranks of Luna among us.” Then she turned toward the moon and raised her arms. “Oh, Moon Goddess, I present to you Princess Brenna Sutton as a Potential Luna.” Magenta took the candle from me and stepped away. I took my place in the center of the stones, looked up at the moon, and lifted my hands. “Oh great Moon Goddess, I, Princess Brenna Sutton, humbly present myself to become your next Luna, if you so choose.”

“I don’t know what, or how to explain it, but something isn’t right. My friends think it’s cool, but now I don’t know.” “What?” Brenda said looking at her confused. “At night during when the moon is almost or when it’s full things happen. Why?” she snapped. “You mean animal stuff?” “I don’t know, I just know I have powers from the full moon especially.” “Don’t tell anyone, especially Ryan.” “Don’t tell me what?” Ryan said looking at Brenda and then Abby. “Abby what is going on here? I come in and you two are talking about something, and the first thing is don’t tell Ryan. Are you pregnant?”

he mumbled. "I am about too," I playfully threatened back once more rolling my eyes. I moved over to my own bed and sat down at the edge of it. "I've been reading my grandpa's notes," I started and tapped at the spot about the Ancient Ones. My own added notes were added to it. Rakesh has fangs, like a vampire. He prefers to sleep during the day. Can be out in the sun but burns? Will get hungry if he is burnt after he wakes up?

A crescent moon nestled in faintly clouded glass, with three tiny snowflake crystals dangling from the edge like frozen stars. She reached out, fingers hovering just above it, heart tightening. WinterMoon. Her home. Or… the home she left behind. The sound of the crowd softened behind her. The music faded. That charm—that moment—was WinterMoon. The night skies. The quiet hush of snowfall on the hills. The scent of pine and frost and something wild. It was the silence of the woods and the hum of belonging. Her throat tightened. The warmth she’d felt only moments ago didn’t vanish—but it dimmed. The edges of it curled in on themselves. She didn’t touch the charm. She didn’t have to. Just lookin

~STORM As I sit here under the soft glow of the moon, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The moon goddess has truly blessed me in ways I never thought possible. I look around at my beautiful family, and my heart swells with joy. My twins, Selene and Kingdom, are the light of my life. Their laughter fills our home with warmth, and their love is a constant reassurance of how lucky I am.

It was easy for her to breathe and started seeing the beauty around her. For example... She could hear the chirps of crickets or she saw a lot of grasshoppers around. She never noticed these bugs before. And ants... There are a lot of them. This place had a very distinct scent of wildflowers and plants. Combined with the sound of flowing water, it gave a serene feeling. She looked up and the sky was getting dark and stars were starting to appear. The moon was rising at the horizon. Hmm... Didn't realize today is a full moon day... Isn't today exactly like "that" day?

He was trembling, his hands clawing at the bridge, his eyes wide with a terror he didn't understand. "You came for a prize," I whispered, standing over him. "You found a judge." I reached down and placed a single hand on his forehead. I didn't kill him. I did something much more permanent. I burned the mandate of the Moonveil into his mind. I showed him the future—a world where the Ashmoor throne was the anchor of the peace, and where the Blood Moon pack was either a servant or a memory. I pulled back. Kael gasped, his eyes clearing, replaced by a look of absolute, hollowed-out submission.

Margo says as we start to eat. “We should probably wait until after Tuesday. I think after Thursday would be best,” Beth tells her. “Oh right. New moon and all that.” They’ve lost me there. “New what? What’s going on? “New moon,” Beth replies. “It’s when the moon isn’t visible in the sky. It affects our condition. Makes us almost normal. We can’t smell, hear, or heal as fast. I’m not going to be pelted with paintballs being normal!”

Hello everyone I really appreciate all you guys' support!!! Hope you are enjoying the book just like I am. I'm thrilled to see that you love the story, and I really put my heart into the characters. I'm publishing three free chapters today, as my gratitude. Hope you will like them! I'm currently drafting for the next climax -- the bloody new moon night. But I thought I could give Taran and Willa a little bit of a "honeymoon" time before fate happens again. They would be spending a lot of fun time in bed (or somewhere else). Enjoy! Nyx Rai

And it was from her that this legend was born – the Legend of the New Moon. Kylie’s eyes caressed the last page of the book she was reading with much love. She desperately sought another page, but there was no more. This book had kept her company for the past few hours. It's thick pages had become all her fingers could recognise during this brief period. Alas, all good things were meant to come to an end one day. In this case, in a few hours; for she had read a book of almost 400 pages in less than two hours!
