ROSE: Yeah, they started moving in early this morning LOGAN: (rushed in) You guys won't believe... The new neighbours have two kids. A guy and a cute girl. The guy would probably be in college and the girl, probably the same age as me. ROSE: (shakes her head) Get dressed. I greeted. "Hello. I'm Mrs Effiong, your new neighbour," she said cheerfully. I glanced over at their apartment and saw a young boy playing soccer in the yard. "We just moved in yesterday evening. My husband is currently at work. I hope we can be good neighbors," she introduced herself with a smile, as the little girl handed me a box of chocolates, bringing back memories of when Erica had first moved in.

I hadn't planned on meeting anyone today, least of all, a stranger at my door. "Hello neighbor, " she said, waving, her voice light and friendly. "I’m Lena, your neighbor. I stay just down the hall. I saw you move in just last week and thought I'd stop by to say hello and maybe introduce myself. I hope I’m not interrupting anything."

I preferred the solitude of driving myself, slowly making my way down the mountain road. Passing along the familiar route, my heart no longer felt weighed down by the memories. The scenery remained the same, but my perspective had transformed entirely. When I was close to home, I noticed a new neighbor had moved in across my house. As I stepped out of the car, I was greeted by a bright and cheerful voice. "Hello, miss! I'm your new neighbor. Would you mind exchanging contacts?"

STELLA POV “Thank you for the cake. We'll enjoy it and welcome you to the neighborhood,” a voice called out cheerfully. The door shut in front of me. I moved to the next door, plate still in hand. I knocked lightly, shifting the plate in my hands. “It’s me… your new neighbor. I’m sharing a little slice of cake with my neighbors… since I just moved in.” Silence. I knocked again then I heard some scuffling inside the room.

Her eyes turned wide, seeing my face, and she looked away. “You didn’t tell me this house had neighbors.” “W-well, Mister Aiden, this is the only house that fits all your needs from two garages to more rooms and security. I’m sure you can overlook neighbors living in such a cozy home. And those are the Millers, I can introduce to them when we—”

I was laying down on my bed, checking my phone when I heard my mom call me from downstairs. "Yeah mom?" I asked not moving from the bed. "There are new neighbours in our neighbourhood. Come on down, I want you to meet this guy. He says, he goes to the same school as you. He is is your age too. Just come down, I think you'll love to meet him." I rolled my eyes. New neighbor? Same school? Who else could it be? Damien puts a check to both of them.

Suddenly I heard her clearing her throat which reminded me I was still staring. Then we continued our running.After a minute a young boy came running,and commented on my biceps.I chuckled slowly.He was really adorable,and while talking,I got to know that she's my new neighbour Natalia.And the little boy was her younger brother.While we were talking I felt Natalia's eyes on me.She looked so innocent while she had an adorable smile for her younger brother.At that moment I wanted to see more of that smile towards me.Woah where did that came from? It was midnight. I was sound asleep when loud, aggressive pounding on my front door rudely woke me. Groggy and annoyed, I barely cracked the door open before a bucket of foul-smelling water splashed all over me. The icy shock jolted me awake. The stench made me gag before I looked up in fury.
