Hidden Mate

Hidden Mate

he joked. "I apologized," Maxine retorted. "I'm so thankful for this dinner invitation. I enjoyed the food." "Glad you did." "I hope you'll have a good flight back to New York." "You too." "Huh?" Maxine uttered. She didn't have the time to ask about his reply because Lawrence suddenly leaned closer and put his lips on her ear. "You can go back to New York if you want." Go back. Ironically, we use that term to indicate the idea of going back to the place that you already visited before. It is very confusing in Maxine’s case since she had never been to New York.

Claimed By The Billionaire Ex

Claimed By The Billionaire Ex

Kelsey snapped back just as loudly, “Mais bouge où exactement?! Tu veux que je disparaisse dans l’air ou quoi?!” Move? Move where exactly? Do you want me to evaporate into thin air? I burst into laughter. Then, with a dramatic sigh, “Men in New York have no spatial awareness. Zero. None.” I wiped a tear from laughing too hard. "You are speaking French in new York Kels, this is an English speaking country you know?' i asked her. "Then they should fucking have manners like English speaking people." “Please tell me you didn’t start a fight.” “Me?” She gasped. “Fight? I’m a peaceful angel.”

The Devil's Little Angel

The Devil's Little Angel

“The men are out. And nightlife is wild in New York. Do the maths” His stoic face gave away nothing; he quietly followed us to the garage, where Isabella gave her bodyguard directions. New York nightlife hit me like a shot of adrenaline directly to my veins. The city sparkled, red, blue, gold. Headlights streaking past, Glowing neon signs, music spilling from every corner we drove past. Everything moved fast. Everything was loud. Bright. The people, the streets, the air. It was all alive. For a few minutes, I let myself simply feel. The streets made me feel brand new, the lights inspired me to throw caution to the wind.

Scars

Scars

Chapter 63 Gideon We land at Teterboro Airport at 8:00 PM, our time, but it’s 6:00 PM here in New York. It’s only two hours but added with stress, and it can feel like jet lag. We arrange for a car service to pick us up and take us to The James New York NoMad on east 29th and Madison. The rest of the world doesn’t know that this is a Packhouse in the middle of New York City. All those urban legends about wolves in New York City parks are kind of true. They are just werewolves. That’s why they don’t get caught. We pull up to The James, and we quickly unload. Alpha Flynn is waiting to meet us.

Beautiful story! Loved the characters and the plot. I am not sure you can correct errors after the book is complete but be conscious of errors. They are very distracting. Looking forward to reading James's story when you have progressed a bit.

Seriously one of my favorite books! Read in 2 days. I just couldn’t put it down. Loved all the characters (well mostly) and I especially loved the little flowers! Great job and excited for book 2!!

Never Mine To Begin With

Never Mine To Begin With

I swear we had a moment and I don't know if I was the one leaning in or him, but all I know our lips were inches apart when someone yelled, “Get a fucking room!” Ugh, New York! I thought as I pulled away from him. Why do New Yorkers not mind the business that pays them. Ryan cleared his throat loudly and said, “Lead us to this amazing place.” We walked for an extra three minutes before coming to the best burger place in New York and I know this because I have eaten at practically all the burger spots in this axis. The meal was an eventful one as I discovered something new. My boss cannot handle spice, like at all.

A few minutes later, Hana took the initiative to ask her to take a walk and buy some things that Jenny might have wanted all this time. "Say, do you want something? Maybe food or something. Just say, we'll buy it now," Hana asked then and after that, Jenny smiled happily. "I want ice cream, can I have it?" Jenny asked and of course she could have it. "Okay, we'll buy it now," Hana said then and Jenny was seen smiling happily. As a very famous area in the United States, New York has a lot of attractions. Starting from the modern city atmosphere to delicious culinary offerings. It is not surprising that this city is one of the favorite destinations for travelers.

Then more honestly, “I just… know him.” James nodded slowly. “Right.” They moved on, conversation resuming, but something had shifted. Not broken just acknowledged. And later, when James excused himself to take a call, Lily sat alone for a moment, staring into her coffee, the echo of Alex’s voice still tucked somewhere deep in her chest. New York wore power differently. Where Chicago felt ambitious, New York felt absolute. The boardroom at Cromwell & Partners reflected that, floor-to-ceiling windows, a table polished to a mirror sheen, city skyline looming like a promise and a threat all at once.

The rest of the room erupted into mocking laughter. *That's right, you pathetic idiots. Laugh while your lungs still function.* "I almost lost my way tracking this grid down," I lied smoothly, leaning against a stack of wooden crates. "Is this sector new? I hauled my ass all the way from Manhattan." "Whoa, seriously? All the way from Manhattan down to the deep end of Brooklyn?" "Yeah. I'll go to the ends of the earth for pristine quality. I supply a network of elite clubs uptown. You know how the logistics work."

The Billionaire's Dirty Obsession

“You don’t look like New York.” “That’s not an answer,” I said, voice flat. “That’s a terrible assessment.” “Sure?” He stopped what he was doing and titled his head, brown eyes holding my gaze. “People who stay here long enough start to wear it. You don’t.” I rose a brow. “And what exactly does New York look like?” “Fast,” he said casually. “Like they’re always about to leave, even when they’re standing still. Certain enough not to look back.”
