Michael's fingers involuntarily tightened on his mug, his inside was in disarray but he tried his best not to let it show on his face or reaction, he brought his mug to his lips and sipped "still the same guy?" "Yes." "Who do you say he is again?" Michael feigned nonchalance but he was really dying to know and he hate it. "His name is Craig Newton, age 29, divorced, father of one. The CEO of Mantis, came to LA for a business deal with the Caritas" Gary tabled out.

It was as if she had just accidentally managed to melt the man's negative personality. The man's hand now began to search for her hand, shaking nervously. She could even see over and over the nervousness that was now evident on the immortal werewolf man's face. It should be impossible for her to reach the man, considering that the man must have met people far greater than her. The man may have met Sir Isaac Newton––one of the greatest scientists in the world that discovered the force of gravity and the theory of colour. Or maybe, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Or maybe, he had met Queen Elizabeth I and become the secret lover of Queen Elizabeth I without ever being inscribed in royal history.

My hands trembled where they rested against the desk, my chest rising and falling with a fury I hadn’t let myself feel in years. I walked toward the window, my stomach churning with anger as I fought back my own pain. It wasn’t until the door opened, and Nolan’s scent was the one thing that grounded me when I didn’t think I needed him…

She was only seven at the time. “Hartlynn Lane Xander age twenty-two, studying psychology at Hidden Falls community college.” Nico reads out then hands me the tablet and sits back down next to Casey who’s been working on finding the videos Harlow said Sandra confessed to have recorded. Hartlynn, what a unique name, it’s just as beautiful as she is I think to myself as I take a glance at her soft sleeping features. Her lips are slightly parted and pouty, there a soft warm natural pink and incredibly inviting, she has a soft lite of freckles across the bridge of her nose and onto her checks. There’s a single small mole or beauty mark on her now bruised right cheek just under her eye and her la

Newton explained while looking at Alyssa lovingly. "Grandpa, you cannot slack off. You need to go for regular checkups like I asked you to," Alyssa reminded him, feeling worried. "Alice, is this …" Newton turned his gaze to Jameson. "Hello, Mr. Beckett Senior. I am Jameson Schmidt," Jameson introduced himself. "Oh, I remember now. I saw you at Lyla's birthday party. You're Victor Schmidt's youngest son, the talented fellow," Newton politely complimented Jameson.

Soon an intercum crackles over head and a woman's monotone of voice filled the room. " Isabella smith?" the voice asked. She nodded shakily. " Age? " E- Eighteen" she felt like crying. " Where were you born?" Spain" N-New York" she stuttered. There was another pause. " Approximately how many times have you had sexual intercourse?" taking a deep calming breath she answered." Two sandwiches and a bowl of chili later, and I was full. Another wolf entered. He was very tall, probably six and a half feet. He had long blonde hair. Another member of the pack also did the same and bowed before taking their leave. “Why can’t you just use the mind link instead of using the old way of summoning people,” I snapped. Marcus blinked. “You completed the ritual with the Alpha?” He sounded surprised. I felt furious before yanking the collar of my brown t-shirt and showing the mark on my scent gland. “I think you noticed this when I first entered this office, didn't you? You all were literally staring at this mark.” How could this guy forget?

I panicked. She chuckled, “It’s just there.” She pointed to a small dot on the screen. “It’s just a little pea.” “That’s about accurate for its size currently. Congratulations.” I was left to clean up and given a printout of the scan. I exited the doctors with my face fixated onto the scan photo. I found myself sitting in my car doing the same thing. My concentration was broken by a call from Logan. “Hey babe, I’m caught up at work. I’m going to be a little late. Don’t wait for me to eat.”
