Basically, this book will all be about the old generation, way before Zane and Nicholas were born. Nicholas will leave at 9 am since he only came because he missed his wife. He could have simply had someone give the list to him but the man used it as an excuse to be with her. Alas, he would have stopped by even without any excuse, even if there was no list to give, being with his wife was enough excuse that he would go opposite the direction of his destination.
