She was trembling in the bed, her lips quivering. “No, I’m not!” She yelled. “You’re a vampire. You have the same darkness as the others!! You’re one of them. He kissed it before looking at her with a forced smile, “Mom. Please… don’t force me to do something that I would never want to not you want me seeing doing it.” She yanked her arm back angrily but his grip was not to be lose so easily. He pulled it back towards him, a smile still plastered on his face, “What is the matter, Mom? It seems that your memories have deteriorated due to an old age, despite the fact, I thought, Vampires doesn’t age like humans. Damon furrowed his brows. “Vampire blood heals little wolf.” He urged his wrist forward for her to take. “I’m not drinking that.” She pursed her lips.

“I’m sorry, Diana, but this can’t happen. I made the rules for a reason.” Diana’s eyes moistened, and she smirked. “I know…” Her gaze reminded him of the still surface of a lake. Calm. Controlled. But there was a faint ripple of disappointment around the edges. “Okey-dokey.” Her words and tone were flippant given the topic under discussion. So too her overly bright, breezy smile. “We’ll leave it at that, then. Yeah?
