Ivy stared at Justin, her eyes wide and full of hurt. "What the hell was that?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Justin ran a hand through his hair and let out a sigh. "Kulture is...just for now," he said casually, avoiding Ivy’s gaze.
"Just for now?" Ivy repeated, her voice cracking.
"Yeah," Justin said, his tone nonchalant. "She’s a good distraction. Don’t read too much into it."
Ivy’s heart broke into a thousand pieces. She stared at him, searching his face for some sign that he didn’t mean what he was saying. But his expression was calm, almost indifferent.
