Sweat plastered my nightgown to my skin despite the mansion's perfect temperature control. The digital clock glowed 3:17 AM. Sleep felt impossible now, the nightmare's shadows still clinging to my mind. Without conscious thought, I found myself wandering the dark hallways. Her pale skin was littered with red marks, suspiciously resembling hickeys. What exactly happened last night?
