I jolted awake, trembling violently as cold sweat clung to my skin. A nightmare. Only a nightmare… though Hazel remained strangely restless beneath my skin. Suddenly, the door pushed open and Dominic crossed the room in seconds, concern darkening his expression. He was beside me before I could steady my breathing, his hand closing around mine. "Are you hurt, Natalia?" "I heard you from the room beside yours.” I turned my gaze to him as I regained my composure. "I–I'm fine. It was just a nightmare," I said, brushing away strands of hair from my face.

He needs to get out of this territory as soon as he can! Back in the house, the two maniacs are seen getting out of the room, guns blazing while breathing fire at the same time. They're calling out Tyson's name asking him where Brenda is because she's nowhere to be found. They only realise that Tyson has played a fast one on them when they fail to meet him out there as well!

“Yeah. There are ways for vampires to get around during daylight hours, and I kind of have a magical way of making the sunlight not hurt Lucas.” “Oh, uh. Wow.” Silence falls between us for a few seconds. I pull the band from my ponytail. “So, when’s a good time to come over? Phil and I both have the night and then tomorrow off.” “Once the sun goes down. Is that too late for Penny?” “Lord no,” she says with a laugh. “That kid hasn’t been sleeping very well lately. It’s a Wonder Week.” “What’s that?” “A growth spurt that messes with her sleep cycle, her happiness, and basically my sanity. She might be up. She might not be.”

Something was definitely brewing there. Finally, we pulled into a gravel lot. I leaned forward, trying to see what this “spontaneous” adventure was. “Is that what I think it is?” I asked slowly, staring at the dilapidated structure ahead. Eli’s grin told me everything. “What the actual hell…” I whispered, my eyes locking on the chipped paint, broken windows, and vines crawling up the walls like nature was trying to warn us. A crooked sign above the doorway read: HOUSE OF SCREAMS – ENTER IF YOU DARE.

I had no idea who this psycho was, and I wasn't bothered to know, but regardless, I wrapped my fingers around his palm, letting him pull me up. Rolling my eyes in awe and disgust, I placed my hand on his chest and pushed backward to create some space because I had no idea what this psycho was capable of.

I asked, squinting my eyes trying to get a glimpse of the stranger. “Oh please I know more than your name bunny, I know everything about you” he said taking two more steps. “So you are a stalker then, how long have you been stalking me?” I panicked as I took more steps back. “I’m not a stalker bunny, I’m your nightmare” the voice said and just like the wind he disappeared into the shadows like he was never there, my heart sank into my stomach as his last words echoed in my head. I’m your nightmare.

Blue immediately nods his head. “Okay so here is the plan. I am sending ten monsters to attack the Ma Vista’s tomorrow and I need you too...” The next morning is Mayhem all the monsters gather in the backyard as they prepare to hear all the monsters that will be going to the Ma Vista’s today. There is an excited buzz that floats around the yard as they all stand there waiting for me to finally address them. Finally I stand, all the monsters stop whispering to one another and the backyard falls silent.
