That night, after Olivine left, sleep refused to come easily. My mind churned with the day’s events, and when I finally drifted off, it was into a world of fitful, broken dreams that twisted my mind in dark, unsettling ways.
The dreams began innocuously enough. Blurry shapes moved in and out of focus, fragments of conversations I couldn’t quite grasp. But then, the scene shifted, and the world around me warped into something nightmarish. Everything was cast in a strange, negative filter, as if the colors had inverted, turning the world into a haunting mix of dark shadows and stark whites.
