Revenge Marriage

Revenge Marriage

Esat shuts up suddenly, as if afraid to give me too much information. "Why? If I'm married to him." "Because you have to register the marriage, and with all the commotion, you haven't done that yet." "I thought the judge who married us took care of that." "He did, but there are other places to register the marriage, and I don't think you want to do that. Right?" "No, not at all." "Well, for now we have to go and come up with another plan." "Well, for now we have to go and come up with another plan."

Step Daddy’s Naughty Girl

Step Daddy’s Naughty Girl

Why don't they both confess what they did? I hissed silently in disgust. Right in front of my eyes, they both slid down the diamond rings down their ring fingers. "Before I pronounce you husband and wife, if any person knows a just cause why the couple should not be joined in the holy matrimony, they must speak now or forever hold their peace." Silence loomed over that even if a pin dropped, it would cause noise pollution. Suddenly, I didn't know what came over me. I raised my hand.

Words That Bind: Author-sama Loves Me

Melody asked. “For one, cultural and religious differences. Lucas and Kioko insist we have a traditional marriage first, but we’re going to Japan again to see the main family with Niko. Azrael’s atheist so we can’t have a church wedding like I had with Ben, plus I’ve been married before. Court weddings are boring, according to Azrael, so we have to consort with Ancel’s company.” “That’s a lot of things.” Reina said. “I know.” I picked a plate of food to eat. “I’m also excited to meet Azrael’s grandparents from both sides.”

MARRIED MY BROTHER IN LAW

MARRIED MY BROTHER IN LAW

-00- "Please kiss your wife." Blakely's heart skipped a beat. Her eyes darted over to Nickson, signaling him to recall their agreement this morning before leaving for church. Nickson was not allowed to kiss Blakely on the lips after the priest authorized their marriage. Nickson was annoyed, questioning the ridiculous terms Blakely had put before they left for church. But Blakely insisted he not kiss her lips on the altar and begged him seriously. The reason was that Blakely wanted kisses on the altar only for a man who would one day marry her sincerely. Nickson didn't fit into that category because he never even truly loved her. Gifts or anything given by Nickson before the wedding was only

HIS INNOCENT TRAITOR

HIS INNOCENT TRAITOR

His criminal record was clear in papers but his soul must be stained by it. Closing his drawer, I sighed as I couldn’t find anything. He must have something in his office room but he would see me going inside through the cameras. But I could make any excuse regarding to that as I was his wife. Thinking of an excuse I exited the room when my phone started ringing showing Abroo’s name on the screen. A smile appeared on my lips as I attended her call. “Why didn’t you come?” I asked her as I invited her over to my Nikah ceremony but she didn’t come. Duranis must have known her but they had made peace with her family so that wouldn’t be any issue.

Marry Me, Ms. Stranger

Marry Me, Ms. Stranger

"How do you propose we call this off?" Questioned the woman with the bright red lipstick. Anita meets her gaze, flashing her a megawatt smile. God has finally woken up and heard her out. "It's easy-peasy. No one was present at our wedding except my parents, the creepy groom, his friend Michael and Daniel, who officiated the wedding. There were no photographers, no witnesses. No marriage license. This marriage is not even legally valid." Anita took a deep breath and continued, "Just say, 'Get out and never to show my face again in your life,' and poof, my family and I will disappear from the face of the earth. All I need is a promise."

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

Aaron nodded. "Shouldn't you think there is something missing?" Aaron glanced at her and Kathy lifted her shoulder and curved her lips down to motion and shook her head to him that she doesn't think so. "A kiss." "KISS." Kathy roared and stared at his face. "Don't you even think about that?" "But our marriage is incomplete without it." "There is no compelling reason to follow customs as we both know, it's all phony. We are hitched according to contract and just for one year." Kathy shouted however Aaron is too inflexible to even consider getting down for his choice.

pretty good start. enough descriptive imagery. the blurb was okay. seems like there's enough conflict to keep the story interesting. the blurb needs some proofreading, as well as the first chapters (typos, tense consistency issues, punctuation, etc.). overall, nice work
krushandkill
The synopsis hints that this story has more in it than it seems. The chapters need some editing, but nothing that damages the story as it is right now. The ML is easily hated, but I bet there is more about him than the first chapters shows.

A Ruling Passion: Mr Tremont's Priceless Little Bride

Mark replied, curling his lips. “No. I’m being very serious. I really don’t want one,” Arianne emphasized, worried that he might actually do it. “There are plenty of civil marriages all over the world. Loads of people choose to simply register. Let’s just consider ours to be a civil ceremony. There’s no need to feel remorse.”

So this isn’t really a book it is a Kdrama in print form. It never ends really. I like it but I dislike the way every sexual interaction between Mark and Arianne is described as marital rape. It really is ok for a wife to enjoy sex with her husband and the author could reflect that in their writing.

Roshan's mother grinned. "I think you should do something about it, even though he won't get married to me, you and Alhaji shouldn't let him end up with a girl from some other religious background, it is not good for Alhaji's reputation as the Imam, it's unheard of that his only child isn't married to a Muslim." Parvina said making Roshan's mother giving her words a deeper thought.
