Wolf Tales

What on earth? Pulling her attention back to the situation, she focused on the woman sitting at the table with a stack of her books, smiling and chatting and signing for the people who had come to see her. Lia studied her, memorizing each detail. She was pretty in a soft, warm way. Long, sun-streaked brown hair swept her shoulders, and a tinge of blush highlighted her creamy complexion. The red turtleneck sweater and the matching dangling earrings gave her an electric vibrancy. Lia didn't think she was a shifter - she did not pick up any connections from her - but sometimes it was hard to tell. Lia hoped against hope the resource Jamie Volka had referred to turned out to be the book. Not the

Isla As we prepared to leave, Lia lingered a moment longer, her eyes flicking toward Nathaniel and Mrs. Blake with a teasing, almost predatory gleam. “You know,” she said, her voice sweet as honey but with an unmistakable edge, “it must be exhausting, trying so hard to appear important when the real power, the real joy… clearly resides elsewhere.” Mrs. Blake’s fingers tightened on her handbag, her lips pressed into a thin line, while Nathaniel opened his mouth, clearly searching for a retort, only to find none came. Lia pressed her advantage.

THE DONS' SURROGATE

THE DONS' SURROGATE

“But you’ve learned when to bite and when to wait.” Lia breathed out slowly. “I don’t have the energy to hate anymore.” Sia studied her face, the calm behind the words. “Hate burns fast. Survival is slower.” Lia looked down at her hands. The ring caught the light, small flashes across her skin. “Do you think I’m surviving?” “You’re still here,” Sia said simply. “That’s how it starts.” Later that day,Sia found her again, this time in the library.Books were scattered across the table. Lia sat cross-legged on the chair, reading something about trade routes. Her lips moved silently as she followed the lines.

A Lie in the Name of Care

A Lie in the Name of Care

Once cooled, I continued to pack my things. Dale thought that he could trap me by taking my phone, but no amount of data could hold me back. I went to the study to retrieve my documents, but the lock's password had been changed. I laughed bitterly. They'd done something so despicable, yet they thought they could cage me. I bit my lip, my sadness hardening into resolve. I pulled a medical report from the bottom drawer and gripped it tightly. If they wouldn't let me go, I'd make this blow up. We would see who'd be crying in the end.

She picked the novel 'A girl who knows too much'. She sat on the comfy chair at the far end of the library room, in front of the fire. The room was designed to be incredibly comfortable, and Lia loved it. The doorbell rang, and she panicked because it's the first time that someone visited the apartment and she doesn't know much people who have connections with Andreas. She made her way to the door and opened it. She met with a sight of a beautiful female with long hairs and a fantastic body. "Who are you? "she asked, rather arrogant. Without waiting she said

“What is the novel title?” “It was titled “The Pakistani Bride.” I know I saw it here beside the “Mottled Dawn”. Who could have taken it?” Liyana uttered, looking sadly at the woman. “Then a librarian must be reading it,” Gurkiran said, turning to go back to her office. “Who could that be on such a golden day?” Liyana lamented, going away with the woman. “Come back another time.” “That can't be!” Liyana stamp her feet on the floor and Gurkiran looked at her.

I actually liked this, it was ok, if they communicated better than Lia would not have been able to get in between them but then we wouldn't have a book. Grammar wasn't the best but I understood what was going on. Happy that Jonathan found someone also

This story is pure crap! The FL is stupid, weak and easely manipulated and the ML is a child, acting like a dog with a bone. He gets everything he wants even when the female character is right. You can see which character the author likes the most. Badly written too. Not Worthy.

The Lycan's Luna

Right as I was on the verge of erupting, a graceful figure caught my eye, instantly snuffing out the fire of anger boiling in my blood. “For a Luna, her mental fortitude is quite weak.” Nazia Owaib, Idris’s mother and the woman who stole my mother’s rightful place as the Lycan Leader’s wife and Luna, strolled to her son’s side and stared down at Saira Malivik with condescending eyes

Frequently Asked Questions

Nimra Ahmad? Oh, she’s one of those authors whose work sneaks up on you when you least expect it. I stumbled upon her novel 'The Bad Muslim Discount' during a random bookstore crawl, and it completely redefined my expectations for contemporary fiction. Her writing blends sharp wit with deep cultural commentary, especially around Muslim identity in the West. The way she balances humor and heartache—like when protagonist Anvar confronts family expectations while navigating life in America—is just chef’s kiss.

Aside from that standout, I’ve heard whispers about her earlier works, though they’re trickier to find. She’s got this knack for making diaspora stories feel universal, like when she tackles generational gaps or the absurdity of bureaucratic red tape. If you’re into authors like Ayad Akhtar or Mohsin Hamid, her stuff should be on your radar.
