I walked back over to my seat, leaning my elbows down on my knee. “Okay, I am listening,” I say wiping my hand down my face. “The moon goddess told your mother that your sister would need a strong and powerful mate to help protect her from the evil that would try to use her, to stand by her side.” He began to explain, “Her mate would be the future Alpha of her pack. Alone they are strong but together, they will be able to stop the evil forces that will becoming for our world. ~STORM As I sit here under the soft glow of the moon, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The moon goddess has truly blessed me in ways I never thought possible. I look around at my beautiful family, and my heart swells with joy. My twins, Selene and Kingdom, are the light of my life. Their laughter fills our home with warmth, and their love is a constant reassurance of how lucky I am.

Kas squeals and stands up, preventing Bronx from taking another dig at me. “Menae? Hmm. I saw something about that in a more recent book. Let me go get it.” Reggie looks at the page in Kas’s book then gets a book he was looking at. “The Menae are fifty children of the Moon Goddess and the human king Endymion. Modern times say they represent the fifty months of the four-year Olympiad cycle.”

"They don't take new wolves. We haven't been trained properly. It could unsafe for us. They're a small pack, only consisting of 5 or something, but what they lack in numbers they make up in strength." "Why are they stirring up trouble?" I ask flopping on the bed next to Mikki. Pale moon light pushed through the window, leaving a stretched rectangle over the floor and halfway across the bed. She shrugs and looks out the window. "Wanting more land or something." We sat there for a long while before Mikki stands swiftly. "You hungry?" "Kinda." I say dragging myself off the bed. Half the house was lit. With the pack leaving suddenly the hallway light was on, the lounge room, the kitchen, several

said Ilyria, “But I need to understand what’s going on.” “Madame,” said the Mogul. He bowed his head to Madame Skia and to Ilyria, “I am grateful for your help. But I am worried that we are almost out of time. Can you tell me how many days it will be before the twin moon rises?” “Less than seven days, Mogul,” replied Madame Skia. “No!” cried Ilyria. How could that be? When she had set off with the caravan there had been a little under a moon cycle. Not a lot of time, but enough she had thought.

My heart raced. I was right! Logan was my Goddess-given mate! “Curse?” Nathan mumbled. “I was really her cursed mate?” The Moon Goddess nodded. “The bond between you two is gone.” she said. “Can’t you feel it?” Nathan looked at me and nodded. “Your true mate is waiting for you back at your pack.” the Moon Goddess said, making Nathan look back at her. “You are still giving me my mate?” Nathan mumbled. “After everything that I did?”

All of them were the living memory of what this pack is. The space between the moons. She had read about it in the first notebook, the first year Ivory Voss was in the territory. The space between the moons is not nothing. It is, in fact, where we live. She had read it many times. She understood it now in the way she understood things that had been true before she named them. The space between the moons was not the dramatic arc. The space between the moons was not the peak of the thing or the arrival of the thing or the naming of the thing.

How fucking lame is that? ‘The mobile,’ Ares grumbles from the abyss. His reminder brings my attention to the hanging structure above my son’s bed. Walking closer, I gaze at it. It is beautifully crafted. The tent covering the moon is a beautiful navy blue, constellations’ decorate the top, reminding me of the night sky. Underneath sits the triple moon. Upon closer inspection, a key sits in the full moon at the center. Wolves circle the moon, their howling and running figures hanging by fish wire.

**The Silent Treatment** Elder Thorne stood beneath the ethereal glow of the moonlight, his heart swelling with both reverence and awe as he faced the moon goddess, a divine figure of unmatched beauty and power. Her silvery robes flowed around her like a celestial waterfall, shimmering gently as the soft breeze rustled the leaves overhead. The moon's radiant light poured forth, illuminating the sacred glade where he had ventured, his spirit filled with hope and purpose, seeking the moon goddess's wisdom to guide Caden, the young alpha, in his quest for a suitable luna.
