Loud music blared all around as everyone danced along The main hall was packed and filled with several unknown faces. Dozens—maybe over a hundred—people, all dressed in Halloween costumes and masks. Skeletons. Witches. Vampires. Demons. Darth Vader, hell there was even someone dressed as Voldemort too. As I stared around for any kind of familiar face, a guy dressed as a giant banana walked past me handing me a red plastic cup.

Halloween week at Fantasy Island meant themed costumes, and Madam Fantasy had been clear: go big or go home. I adjusted my mask in the mirror. We bumped into Carlo and his dog. He’s dressed up as Batman. His dog has a black bow tie and a red cape. “The magicians are here!” Carlo looked very excited. “Nanny Jean please take a picture of us.” I handed my phone to Calvin’s Nanny. “Okay. Smile guys.” Nanny Jean said and took some shots of us.

I loved being part of the plan making. We both got dressed in our costumes. Lucas wore a white long sleeve shirt with brown trousers and suspenders, looking just like Jack. I had on the iconic purple and white dress with pink sash around my ribs that she wore the night the ship sank. Since it's cold in New York for Halloween I had on the coat that Jack gave Rose part way through the night. "Are you ready Rose?" He asked, holding his arm out for me to take. "Ready, Jack." I grabbed it, getting into character with him.

And my fingernails were painted black. When the boys had told us to wear black, I'm sure they weren't expecting us to go all out. This outfit has been sitting in my closet for months and I finally get the chance to wear it. I was saving it for my first Crash Course Rebellion concert. Of course, at the time I was only planning on going to the concert not performing in it. Jackie was dressed similarly to me, but instead of jeans she went for a chained pleated skirt and fishnet stockings, and her hair was braided into two cornrows falling over her shoulders.

Speak up, man.” “Do you still have those ski masks?” She nodded, “Yeah, what’s up?” “We need to borrow them. So we can hide our faces in case we run into Niko and his squad.” Jada nodded in rapid succession agreeing with me, “Yeah, yeah, that is true,” she ran back into her room, “hold on, let me get them.”
