Beside the plant there was a small hole which could fit two of Ji Nan's fingers. When he saw the plant Ji Nan rushed with joy oblivious to the danger it was holding. In the hole, a grey and yellow stripped snake laid peacefully. Its head faced the plant as if the yellow leaves were its life source. When it sensed Ji Nan coming closer to it, it opened its red eyes and a slit of killing intent emerged ready to taint the intruder with its venom. Ji Nan went closer. He reached his hand so to uproot the plant needed to save his commander's life, out of the soil. But before he could completely pull it out, he caught a glimpse of an oncoming attack.

My eyes fell to the Creyer that the King didn’t go without. I presumed that his powers also came from that mysterious staff. It glittered despite its dark color. It was because of the diamonds, which were one of the components that the staff was made up of. Well, from what I heard of. “What’s this commotion about?” the King gently asked that it was almost impossible to hear. The two warriors let go of me. I shook my arms once and slightly bowed to him just like the others did. Then I looked at him straight in the eye.

Ozgur turned around, but Orochi took out a long chain from behind his back, Orochi wanted to wrap his chain around Ozgur's body. But before that, Ozgur had caught the chain with one of his hands, Ozgur turned to Orochi and shook his head. "You should study in college, I don't want to hurt you." Ozgur's words stopped, when he knew Orochi was about to release something, again. Ozgur immediately pulled the chain, he ran over and kicked Orochi. The chain was still holding by both of them, while the knife that was about to be unsheathed was already held by Ozgur and the chain was instantly cut.

Don’t let him get me to the mat. Jackson and I start slowly for a moment, circling each other, looking for openings, but he strikes quick as a cobra, taking advantage of his larger size and charging for me with a wide swing of his staff. Panicked, I leap to the side with a little yelp, ducking to avoid the sweep of wood that probably would have cracked my skull if it had landed.

His sword sliced through the air, unleashing a powerful force akin to a hundred swords striking the massive stone. The boulder fragmented, yet Kenru stood before me, his back turned. The scent of his masculine presence was unmistakable. "Tigrani's hair is immortal. You don't step this close to snakes," he said, addressing me. He pointed his sword's tip toward the hair strands surrounding my feet. Swiftly, he severed them, then hauled me closer with a powerful pull. His strength was overwhelming, his grip nearly all-encompassing. "How sweet. The bastard of the 9th kingdom, Kenru Zorwig, or should I say Prince Kenru Rousad?"

"Swear on the Natuira tree, Lord Ares. I will cut out your poison-filled tongue!" Morgan flicked his finger to stop Natuira's tendrils which had become tangled with each other to chase Ares from all sides. What extraordinary control, even with this determined sentence, it managed to make the wind rustle even harder and the skin's reaction also got goosebumps. Ares was stunned when a gleaming golden staff appeared in Morgan's palm without Morgan even having to open his fist. The staff was small, maybe only half a cubit long, but Ares knew full well that the tiny staff was even more dangerous than Poseidon's trident.

She glanced at where the wind came from and she saw-- The young boy Robb, standing by the kitchen door, holding Cassana's staff that were inches taller than him. "Robb!!" Cassana shouted. The young boy focused on the staff once more, the sapphire glowed and another invisible force launched from him towards the archer. The drow got knocked off his feet, dropping his weapon on the floor once again. "The staff, give it to me!" The red-head ordered.

He waved his hand again at the same time as the water appeared forming like a staff. And when the water disappeared I saw a beautiful staff. Its height is almost the same as mine. I am 5'6 feet and I'm guessing the staff is 5'4 feet. At the lower end of the staff, there is a crescent moon-like blade, while the upper end has a large oblong-shaped gem but its upper edge is sharp, it has four silver prongs that serve as its support. And like the diamond on my necklace, this one has mist inside that copies the color of the galaxy. I'm honored that they know how much I fancy diamonds. The pole is curvy and it looks like it's made out of tree wood.

Facing the giant snake, Gideon stated, "I won't take your life, but these people are my own, and I can't just watch. Let's strike a bargain. Give up your inner core and vacate this area." The mercenary group was once again taken aback. Asking the enormous snake to give up its inner core voluntarily? That was the most valuable thing to such a creature. Losing it would drastically weaken the snake's power. How could such a thing happen? Yet, to their amazement, the gigantic snake was utterly terrified. It lay flat on the ground, trembling from head to tail. Then, it opened its massive, bloodstained mouth and expelled its inner core. "Go on." Gideon gestured with a wave of his hand.
