He stood there in nothing but his skin and that chrome collar, the recycled air of the Blackwell suite chilling the sweat on his ribs.
Gideon didn’t wait. He moved with the heavy, silent grace of a landslide, his massive frame shoving Timothy back into the pillows. The bed groaned under the weight. Gideon’s hands, calloused and scarred from a decade of enforcer work, clamped onto Timothy’s thighs, dragging them apart.
"What are these made of?" Kan asked, picking up the discarded pants from the floor. He ran a thumb over the matte black weave.
"Nash tech," Timothy rasped, his voice catching in his throat. "Harder to cut than Kevlar."
