I had spent hours pouring over every book, committing everything I read to memory. I didn't want to miss a single thing. There had to be a way I could help Rayne. I can’t define the feeling, but I can feel it like a glow covering me from head to toe. We cuddled for a while, talking about the future, about us and our children, until sleep claimed us. Blag! I hate the chills that suddenly runs down my spine at the sight of the titles of the books. I sit across from Noah after I drop his food on the next table beside the study table and stare at the book he is reading intently. "What are you doing?" I ask with worry. Has he been bewitched too? "I know how anxious you have been about going to see that book and find a way to save Michelle and the others. I am trying to find out what we can do, any possible information we will need," he says and I visibly relax. I was worried that he was going to get addicted to the book about sorcerers just like Michelle did.
