A Night In Daddy's Bed
HARRISON'S POV
A plumber’s van had been parked out front of the house when I got back home. The sliding door stood open, revealing trays stacked one atop another—silver and brass fittings, corners, S-bends, and plastic couplings arranged with rough practicality.
The company name was fixed to the side panels on magnetised mats: D.J. Morgan Plumbers & Gas Fitters.
I found him in the kitchen, drinking tea and attempting, without much subtlety, to steal glances down the front of Ruby’s V-neck top. Outside, in the garden, his apprentice was showing Madison how to juggle a football with her knees and feet.
