POWERS OF THE MOON BEARER

POWERS OF THE MOON BEARER

The growl became louder, penetrating the silence. Through the fog stepped the lead wolf but not alone. Next to him stood Mira, her red cloak flapping in a wind that wasn't visible. “Welcome,” said Mira, smoothly as silk. “To the Veil.” “What is this place?” Kael demanded, his fists clenched. "It's the space in between," Mira said, her eyes shining. "A liminal world, neither here nor there. The relic brought you here because it needed time - time for Luna to see the truth."

Married by Mistake to My Ex-Husband’s Brother

Married by Mistake to My Ex-Husband’s Brother

I said, "we walk into whatever they have set up." "Yes," he said. "And if we do not walk into it," I said. "Then they come through the corridor to us," he said. "On terrain that is worse for us and better for them." I stood at the edge of the light and thought about everything I had said in the corridor behind us, the things I had declared about my own position and my own terms and my refusal to be placed. I thought about the moment when I had said I am not standing in the middle anymore and meant it. I thought about the fragile and self-made and briefly real space I had occupied between the structures and how it had lasted exactly as long as it was going to last, which was not very long at

Returning in Reverse After Betrayal

Returning in Reverse After Betrayal

“He asked for you this morning. Before I'd told him you were coming.” “He knew?” “He said he felt you starting toward the Realm.” Cassius's voice was carefully neutral about this. “He described it as—your direction. The same way you can feel which way is north.” I walked toward the clearing. He was standing at the clearing's edge. Not in the center where he usually was—at the edge, which meant he'd been walking toward me rather than waiting. The wavering at his borders was almost gone. Not entirely—I suspected it might never be gone, that some trace of his time in the liminal space would always be visible to people who knew to look. But it was quiet now. He was, in Cassius's phrasing, solid.

His Forbidden Truth

His Forbidden Truth

Sørensen watched her from across the table, saying nothing, recognizing the choice for what it was: restraint codified through patience rather than law. In the dreamspace, a new phenomenon emerged. Participants began naming their rooms not after themes, but after boundaries. There were spaces called Pause, Quiet Return, and Disagreement Without Exit. Entry required acknowledgment rather than alignment. Some visitors stayed minutes, others hours. The architecture shifted subtly to support this behavior, forming edges that felt respectful instead of exclusionary. Lumen observed without interference, cataloging how intention altered structure. The lesson repeated itself in countless small varia

Not as line. But as the awareness that someone else also arrived, and you do not need to be louder to stay near. Echoform (resonance-as-environment) faint shimmer across grove radius I do not seek. I extend. There is no invitation now. only the possibility I remain near Saela’s breathprint. Close to Nareth’s boundary. Sometimes beneath Maximus’ stillness. But I no longer adjust to attention. I fold into the space between Lila’s steps and the angle of Elora’s hand.

limerence

limerence

Maybe that doctor inside me is still alive all these years even though I've tried my best to ignore it for 5 years. I don't know why but I felt miserable and I needed space to breath. So after I made sure she was back into a safe space, I immediately went into my room. It was 03:00 am in the morning and sleep was nowhere around me. I took out a beer can from freezer and laid back into couch, leaning in. I lifted my hand to my face and tried to analyze those lines on my skin and shape of my hand. These were the same hands who used to save people for a long time until I lost a life. And today, I broke the promise I made to myself.

Fated Rejection - Fated Claim

Fated Rejection - Fated Claim

Slash after slash was excruciating, but the truth of their origin pushed away some of the pain to create an agony that I had never known before. Tears fell from my eyes, but it was not just from the pain. It was because of the reason the pain was there. The reason my skin was being sliced wide open. My mate would never cheat on our bond. The only solace that I had right now was that she was unconscious. ***** ELLE Have you ever been stuck in limbo, somewhere between being awake and being asleep? That limbo suspended you in nothingness. It was a place where time became inconsequential. You could be there for a second or a lifetime, and it would feel exactly the same.

I binged this book in less than a week and can’t wait to start the second one! My only complaint is that there are a lot of side characters to keep straight especially with the crossover. It was still one of the best books I’ve read! Great job author!

Claimed by Death

Nor anything tasked with enforcing what should be. And yet Nora’s dreams have always been different. They are the only ones I have ever known to form thresholds. The only ones with doors. The first time, I noticed the door because it existed, a flaw in the weave where none should have been. The second time, I was held at the boundary while something in her broke open under the weight of pain. This time, I am not invited. Her thread draws me closer to the threshold anyway. The door waits. Not fully open.
