Opening the Door

Opening the Door

Every place took its own space and would fit together when needed. As she contemplated everything that she needed to. The doorbell rang, and she went to the door. Her brother was standing there with a box in his hands. “This is a short-range one, but it works better and won’t affect cell phones or Wi-Fi.” He pressed the button, and the lights dimmed for a second, and then he did it again when everything had reset. “Just to be sure.”

Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

Julian's reply came instantly. Brother: [Do I need to come get you?] Even through the screen, she felt the cold, unyielding edge in his tone. Afraid he might actually appear at her door, she dropped her tablet, grabbed her phone, and hurried out. Standing at his door, she hadn't even reached for the bell when another message appeared. Brother: [902079. Let yourself in.] It was the code for the door. For a moment, she froze as her mind leapt. Was it the same way Charlotte had gotten his code? Was she just one of many women who knew it?

so far I love how strong Sydney is and all she needs now is the devoted man to make everything else set in stone. she doesn't need a man but her having one completely devoted to her will make this story perfect, but it is really good so far.

This book needs to pick up speed. One chapter a day is slow to say the least. Not to mention that new story lines are constantly being added without completely ending older stories and developed characters seem to disappear. Is this an author issue or an app issue to secure reader subscriptions?

Not Your Mate

Not Your Mate

Thaddeus almost took me home by the time I woke up, and I stopped just before we entered. "This has nothing to do with anyone else, Orion," I said. "I simply don't love you anymore." With that, Thaddeus carried me back to my room, and I shrugged free as I apologized, "I'm sorry. He's going to bear a grudge against you now." However, Thaddeus wrapped his arms firmly around me. "But what if I wanted it so?

Adam got annoyed and said. " Whoever is on the door is going to get fired. " He said. " Oh, no, please... Don't fire the person. " " Why don't they leave us alone?? " He was annoyed. " Please darling, let it be... They are excited about our reception. They just want it to be a great success. Please, love. " I said rubbing his chest. He calmed down a bit. " Ok, fine!! But I am going to put a ' Do Not Disturb door hanger outside. " He said. I nodded with a smile.

"Sometimes I just change on my own, can't always help it." "It's--it's alright." I exhaled slowly, waiting until the trembling in my hands finally ceased. I gave myself a weak wave and turned away. "Also, thank you but I'm not interested in purchasing a door." "The door is not for purchase, it's to go through!" My bow tie wearing clone shouted, making me hesitate for the second time. "My doors can take you anywhere you need to go, for a price."

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet
