I Am Done Being Your Doormat, Alpha

I Am Done Being Your Doormat, Alpha

More like a rage so calm and yet deadly. From the suitcase, I took out a tiny figurine of a golden sycamore. I held it dearly in my hand, rubbing it against my thumb. “We’re here, my child,” I whispered like my child could really hear me. “It’s time for Mommy to collect some debt.” I kissed it gently with my eyes closed before putting it inside the glass cabinet where I could always see it. I walked in front of the apartment window. The tall scrapers waved at me. I took my phone out and opened my social app. My heart burned with desire. A smirk was plastered on my face as I steadily typed on my phone keyboard.

Without you

Without you

I opened the door for him and he was with takeout and some wine. "I brought some emotional support fries" he said as he entered, kicking off his shoes like he owned the place. "You are welcome" Damien replied himself. I did not even acknowledge him. I was thinking about what my father said before he left. As much as I want not to acknowledge it, it keeps popping back into my head. "Tell me not to do it, tell me not to marry Elias Hale" I said to Damien. He came and sat down beside me and passed me the box of fries.

I will not be your submissive!

I try to stay away from them," I joke and she sighs resignedly. I'm not as bad as you think, I'm sweet outside of my playroom, or so I try to be. I watch her go away and drink again until I'm tired. When I open my eyes, the sun streaming through my window tells me the time. "! Andrea, you're waiting for me today at Amber's fashion house! I exclaim, getting up suddenly. I rush out into the living room, and the figure of Demetrio Laureti is sitting on my couch with a cup of coffee.

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

I'm Not Your Mother

I'm Not Your Mother

In the end, Yohan bought him a piece from an artist to bring to school, while I painstakingly glued this plate back together piece by piece. But regardless of what it was, once it was cracked, it could never be recovered completely. "This is already defective," I said, casually tossing it into the trash, shattering it at once. "Since you already have a brand new replacement, there's no need for you to keep this." Julian stared at the shattered plate, taken aback. After that, he realized something and looked up happily. "Did you recover your memories and remember me, Mommy?" I shook my head. "I never did lose my memories. I just no longer wanted to remember anything to do with you and Yohan."
