Susan's POV I've been stuck on this lonely road for God knows how long, and I still haven't found a cab heading home. Everything is just working against me lately. This road is notorious for being very busy on days like this. But today, it's empty and quiet like a cemetery. It's as though Paul paid all the cab drivers to frustrate my life this morning. I can't stop glancing through every corner of the street to keep myself safe. I've heard crazy stories about this particular road in the past.

“Come on. I’ll take you upstairs to rest.” He stood and guided her toward the stairs. Finn and Calvin exchanged a look. Then they followed right after them. God, I wanted to go eavesdrop so badly. Linda, sitting beside me, muttered under her breath, “Slutty bitch.” That jogged my memory. There was a drugging subplot around this part of the story. If I remembered correctly, Linda was the culprit. She had been secretly in love with Calvin for years, but Calvin only had eyes for Nancy. In the original novel, she managed to drug him, but afterward he turned the tables and dosed her ten times worse, leaving her stranded with no help. She ended up with a terrible fate.

Exhaustion is taking over, and I am having trouble keeping my eyes open. Right before my eyes close, the last thing I see is Braxius's blue-green eyes filled with love and sorrow. Except, I somehow know everything will be all right with him. That only thought is making my leaving easier, and I stop fighting the darkness. I am floating away towards total oblivion. Nova’s pov When Principal Weathers told me I graduated early I could barely hear him talk all I could think about was the images flashing across my mind burning into my brain like a warning. While it’s not the first time it’s happened these images were dark and twisted. So the second I left the building I bolted to my car just wanting to get out of here the sooner I got out of here the better chance I had at avoiding Axels questions. She inhaled its contents, and a surprise gasp left her mouth. Blood! was what was in there.

Cole's PoV Sunday 13th January 2019 ********************************** Tonight is going to be amazing. Me and Lacey have been invited to a big party as a late New Years celebration by one of our friends from school. They called it a New Years party but we all know that's just an excuse to get drunk and have sex and dance the night away. I'm not complaining though, I love sex and partying and getting drunk.
