She is usually a topic of interest in the papers and gatherings. "Of course, she wants to find you guys. All you do is attack her people," I tell her sharply, and she squints her eyes,

I was about to burn your precious mother’s picture and your documents to wipe your existence from the world, thinking that you betrayed us.” “No. I.. I just went out to get some air.” “Air? Sit on the couch with your legs up.” A single tear rolled down my cheeks to know what my next punishment was.

Who has dozed off, with her right hand cupping her cheek. “Reading something interesting Ana?” Mr. Snitch asked. My heart was hammering too loudly. “No, Mr. Snitch I was just reading the textbook” I placed my subject book above the table, deftly placing the novel underneath the desk. I hoped fervently that my voice didn’t give me away. I am a very bad liar, it usually took, just four seconds for people to catch me red handed when I did. Please let this not be one of those times. I chanted.

Elena’s POV One and a half year later She drew the blinds, made a hot chocolate and settled down with a book in her lap. It was a romance she had bought from the local supermarket. It was the story of a girl who ran from her house and found a considerate guy in the new city who was hiding from his past. “Loving The Writer Billionaire”, she read the title. She started the book but put it down. There were so many questions in her mind.

Anaïs’s face stared back at them from the glossy pages of Élla Mays Vogue magazine. Lilith’s fingers tightened around her glass. “So, she’s really doing it.” Sheryl chuckled. “Not just doing it. She’s thriving.” Lilith swirled the wine in her glass, her manicured nails tapping against the crystal. "This better be worth it," she murmured. Sheryl smirked. "Trust me. If what she says is true, Anaïs Iluak isn’t who she appears to be." Lilith’s gaze darkened.

The first novel I read was by Louisa May Alcott; Little Woman, and then moved on to other feminist novels such as Handmaid's Tale and Pride and Prejudice—the book I'm holding right now. Well, I shouldn't be going around the library looking for a novel I like because what I'm supposed to be doing is taking care of a crazy bastard named Rhysand del Millero, who's on the phone. But I don't want to do that. I'd rather buy time with the books in front of me until the helicopter he's waiting for comes over to the bullshit he started. Damn, I hate this situation. I hate being stuck with a domineering, powerful man who loves to be heard more than to hear, and hates that I can't do anything.

Anna POV I could feel the gentle breeze blowing through my window and touching my body which was crawled up in a ball up on the bed. It should have been a wake up call but I didn't care about it. My eyes were wide open and I didn't move an inch. School was not something I looked forward to but today I wanted to crawl up in a ball with a novel in hand and just lay in bed while reading. I had fallen asleep while reading a novel in bed and that novel was better than the life I lived when I woke up this morning and I wanted to go back into the walls that the novel built up high that no one could break.
