I'm not really sure what I am to do here because it looks like a place that collects outrageous money and since I'm poor, you can connect the dots. I felt someone grab me at my waist, I tried to struggle out of the hold, I underestimated these aliens thinking they can't kidnap me in a crowdy area.--- Boy, was I wrong. "You bitch, where did you think you are going to" a rough voice said. I didn't even bother to listen to what he was saying, I head butted him so hard I saw stars, hearing a groan, the hands around my waist released me.

Unrequited love

Unrequited love

Thirty minutes later, she was standing in front of the orphanage. "Assalamu-alaikum" She greeted Mehr who was standing in the living room. "Walaikum-Assalam" She greeted back. "I am Amira Naqvi, Maaz Naqvi's mother" She introduced herself, "I think she's here because of Haya, My Allah! I told her not to mess with these billionaires now Allah know why she is here" Mehr thought inwardly. "I am Mehrbano, the orphan keeper" Mehr replied with a smile and Mrs Naqvi mouthed an O. Both of them sat on the couch, Mehr was scared and nervous seeing Mrs Naqvi here and Mrs Naqvi was nervous to talk about the marriage.

WHY ME

WHY ME

And yet, his honesty during their brief conversation lingered with her. Her gaze fell to the journal tucked into her drawer. Inside were pages filled with half-written dreams: snippets of poetry, sketches of distant lands she longed to visit, and ideas for the education she had always wanted to pursue. But now, all of it felt like an illusion slipping further from her grasp. The sound of footsteps pulled her out of her reverie. She turned to see Ali standing in her doorway, his usual mischievous grin nowhere to be found. “Didi,” he said softly, “are you okay?”

A Writer's Love: You and I

A Writer's Love: You and I

I ended the discussion because I knew that it was going nowhere. The truth was I just don’t like going to clubs or bars. I hate the nightlife. I used to love it but now I’d rather be in my apartment writing my fantasy. I try to stay away from the things that remind me of my past. I am Aliana, the girl in my first novel. My Winston in the story is Sacha Ellis. I have no idea where he is now. No one knew that it was my life story. I met Claire when I moved in to New York. She helped me get someone that can read my book and have it published. We’ve been best friends since then and when she started working as a talent agent I let her be my agent. She had no idea about my past and I rather keep i

First read the book for the romance, but after that I have to say this is a brilliant work. The writer has done an excellent job about the FL struggles with anxiety & depression. And the ML is not an angel himself, they both have flaws but that’s what make the book so relatable & hv many nuances
