Luna’s Replacement

Luna’s Replacement

*** Naomi's POV *** I slowly opened my eyes to face myself in an unfamiliar place. The room has an old musty, earthy smell to it. The floor under me is wet and cold. I feel like my body has been hit by a truck, and my headache is on the brink of making my head split open. I lift my right hand towards my head only to realize I can't because I am chained. My wrist burns where the shackles touch my skin. I palpate the ground, mapping the floor underneath me. My fingers brush against the chain links, and once again, my skin sizzles at the point of contact. The chains are made of silver.

Behind Chains and Coffins

Behind Chains and Coffins

Suddenly, his hands grasped my throat. Choking, gagging for air clutched at his hands with my own. The sting of power that lived within him struck me like an electric shock. “I think in the future you should think about your words more carefully before letting them spill out of that pretty little mouth. I’d so hate to see those lips ripped from your skull, Chief Darksyde.” He snickered before throwing me to the ground.

Chained to the Billionaire

Snakes of doubt were now starting to raise their heads inside him. Even the bright end of hope, Bella had not held it until today; she had never even seen it smile. He was standing on the terrace wearing a knitted shirt in the chilly winter night. He was busy reducing the anger rising inside him with cigarette smoke, but with every passing moment, those angers were getting hotter and faster.

Denied by Destiny: Trapped in the Shadows of the Mate Bond

Denied by Destiny: Trapped in the Shadows of the Mate Bond

I’ve never been here before in my life. “Hello….” I call out, drawing my legs closer to my chest as I angle myself to try and stand up but my legs are so tightly wrapped in these chains that I’m struggling to reposition myself. “They are just normal chains, break free!” My wolf demands impatiently in my mind. She was right…these weren’t silver chains, they weren’t even laced in wolfsbane. Whoever tied them around me, knew I could easily break free. Nausea rises to the back of my throat at the realisation that somebody placed these

Velvet Chains

Velvet Chains

* Her trembling hands wrapped around the golden door handle. Twisted. Pulled. It creaked open. Freedom. Close. She pushed out into the corridor, fighting not to breathe too deeply. Not to see how with each step she got farther away from him something in her chest groaned open and bled. --- She reached the elevator. Pressed the button with desperate fingers. The doors opened and she near *threw* herself on. Heart racing in her throat, she pounded her hand on the ground floor button. *Come on, come on—*

THE TRIBUTE QUEEN OF THE DRAGON KING

THE TRIBUTE QUEEN OF THE DRAGON KING

When his attention drops down to the shackles around my wrists, slowly, he reaches out. My body stiffens for a second, expecting more pain, but instead, his fingers trace the metal lightly. That strange sensation of weakness intensifies inside me. “These are not ordinary chains,” he murmurs. “My guess is you already know that.” A low hiss of pain escapes my lips, “I feel so weak and whatever you're doing to these chains just keep making me weaker.” He chuckles, but his eyes stay on the chains a while longer. Without warning, the chains snap open.

Bought For His Son; Pleasured By The Don

Bought For His Son; Pleasured By The Don

CASSANDRA My eyes fluttered open only to snap shut again due to the blinding brightness. My body felt weak, stiff, and unresponsive. I tried to shift when I felt it…cold, metal chains dragging me back. Panic cut through the haze; my eyes flew open as memories of the last twenty-four hours came crashing all at once. I should’ve been in New York by now…but here I was, hands and legs chained—like a prisoner. A tear slipped from my eyes. I was back here again; all my efforts, all my plans, had gone down the drain. I didn’t want to accept it—I couldn't accept that I was stuck here, that I might never escape him.

He felt it of course, curling his fingers until my thighs quivered. “Beg,” He demanded. “Please,” I gasped, voice cracking. “Please daddy, let me finish.” He chuckled, satisfied. He pulled his hand free again, smearing my wetness across my inner thigh. “Not tonight princess. Tonight you’ll understand just who owns you.” The chain around my neck loosened suddenly and the collar slipped into his palm. He pocketed the item, straightening his suit like nothing had happened while I was left trembling against the SUV.

Chains Of The Heart

Chains Of The Heart

And the world dissolved. Not into darkness—into red. A crimson filter bled across everything Damian saw, thick and pulsing like a heartbeat that wouldn't stop. The study vanished. The fire vanished. Nathan and Rowan and everything familiar—gone. He was somewhere else. Somewhere wrong. People hung upside down from the ceiling. Rows of them. Dozens. Their faces swollen with blood, their eyes glassy with pain that had gone beyond suffering into something else—something beyond. Chains bit into their ankles. Their arms dangled uselessly below them, fingers twitching with the last remnants of nerve impulses.
