And in the past few days, I finally felt that I was powerless when I was around her. No matter in the past or now, when I am bored, I always like to use novels to kill time and find resonance in novels. Shelby became busy again. She told me that there will be a design competition in two months and she is preparing for it. People will always be emotionally affected by things around them. Just like yesterday, I started a narrative novel with a sad theme. When I finished reading it at night, my whole body was exuding negative energy. I couldn't laugh, but I still answered: “It looks good.”

Alaina's pov I woke up in the middle of the night and saw nova sitting on the reading table , doing something on her laptop. ” Nova ” I called as I cleaned my eyes and sat properly on the bed. ” You’re awake? ” She asked still looking at her Laptop. ” Why aren’t you sleeping? ” I asked and she sighed and turned to me. ” Doing something important ” she said as she stood up and came to sit beside me on the bed. ” What are you doing?” I asked and she smiled. ” was just doing some research about your powers ” she said. ” Did you find anything? ” I asked and she nodded negatively. ” You posses some sort of strange powers and according to what I heard from Harley , she said another confessor. Well

“You haven’t felt that for Lia. Not once.” “Because of the curse.” I state. He scoffs like I’ve made it all up but I see my two fathers exchange looks. “What?” I ask them. “We have no real evidence that this curse even exists.” Cain says. “And none that it doesn’t.” I say back. “Besides, Cassandra said she felt the magic.” “What does she say, this new girl? What’s her explanation for all of it?” Aeron asks. I take another sip before swirling the contents around. “She says they were attacked. That everyone else was killed, and that she survived because a guard hid her with his body.”
