Desperation Made Him Marry His Cold Boss

Desperation Made Him Marry His Cold Boss

Alexander paused right in front of Adrian, sipped his coffee once, and then pushed his free hand into his pocket. "You promised to be efficient today, Mr. Cole. What is this?" Alexander asked, gesturing toward the coffee in his hand. Adrian gulped, his brows furrowing in confusion. What does he mean? He gently pressed his hands around his cup of coffee, channeling his nervousness to his fingers. "It's your coffee, sir. Black coffee, no sugar, no cream—strong, bitter, and straightforward, just like you," Adrian blurted out, his voice shaking in the end as he realized what he had said.

Unveiling the Depths of Desire

Unveiling the Depths of Desire

I nodded at him, acknowledging his preference, and proceeded to make my way to the kitchen. Fortunately, I had a coffee machine at home. I had always been a coffee lover, which was the reason I had invested in the machine. I preferred black coffee, specifically americano, as it provided the perfect pick-me-up. Without my daily dose of coffee, I found it challenging to function at my best. As I entered the kitchen, the enticing aroma of freshly ground coffee beans enveloped me, heightening my anticipation. I took solace in the familiarity of the process, appreciating the calming routine that making coffee provided.

Who's the Substitute Now?

Who's the Substitute Now?

"You should taste the coffee. It's very good. I went through a lot of trouble to buy this coffee, and I don't just offer it to anyone. " He looked very proud of himself. After taking a sip, Natasha casually asked, "Is this Serranoa coffee?" Marcus was surprised. Someone unfamiliar with coffee couldn't tell the name from one sip. "Mrs. Grayson, do you know about coffee?" Serranoa coffee was only available in Topola, and most people had never tasted or heard of it. Natasha smiled thinly. "Just a little." "There's no need for modesty. Not many people understand coffee these days." Marcus sounded somewhat sad. He seemed to consider Natasha a kindred spirit.

HIS SECRET ADDICTION

HIS SECRET ADDICTION

I stood there for a second watching him push out into the street with four books and the easy confidence of someone who'd just made a friend in forty seconds that I hadn't managed in five visits. Then I followed him. The coffee next door was, in fact, better. We sat at the bar the way Italians did, standing technically, though we'd claimed two stools at the end. Alex had his new novel open on the counter and was reading the first page while his espresso cooled. "Don't read while you drink that," I said. "Why." "Because it deserves attention." He looked up. Then he looked at the espresso. Then he closed the book. "You have strong opinions about coffee."

There wasn’t a need to make it more bitter with coffee. On the other hand, the second set of memories belonging to Zen Taro argued with his usual preference as a chef. I don't belong to you CEO

The coffee made there weirdly reduced his stress. Reading a newspaper, he waited for his order. The beautiful designs which he often sees on the coffee mug disappeared, making his day further dull. The coffee's smell was also different from his usual one. "Where is the design on my coffee?" He scowled like a little boy at the waitress who brought him the beverage. The young girl shivered in her legs at the harsh tone of the CEO. Their tiny cafe on the footpath beside the street was opposite the multinational firm. She may possibly lose her job because ninety percent of their customers came from the Pfizer group of industries.

His Cold CEO

His Cold CEO

Epilogue: Two Years Later POV: Noah The café was quiet, a hidden gem tucked away on a cobblestone side street in the heart of the Marais. The air inside was a rich blend of dark roast coffee, steamed milk, and the buttery, sweet scent of freshly baked brioche that seemed to seep from the very walls. Outside, a soft, persistent rain misted the windowpanes, blurring the world into a watercolor painting of grey stone and muted green awnings. The morning was slow, warm, and profoundly human. It was a world away from the gleaming, high-stakes pressure of their lives.

Chosen By The Moon

Chosen By The Moon

He groaned again and pushed his cup of coffee away from him with nothing but disgust on his face. "I was sensible and didn't drink anything last night." I smiled shaking my head at his appearance before taking his unused coffee in my hand. "You know, I've never actually tried coffee before." I frowned deeply before Slowly sipping it and tasting the strong brew on my tongue, instantly liking the new flavor. It was different to anything I had ever had, I hadn't ever had a hot drink before, not that I actually had the opportunity to try many things since the new world came into play.

excellent work author and I think I understand the reasons why you insisted so much on this pain during the first pages. I am sure that Dylan will not remain without her arm, like all those who are still alive and were mutilated during the battle, she will ask the goddess for help on this subject.

I Wish they would make physical versions of it. This is one of the few stories of this type that I'm really enjoying to read. I'm still in chapter 20. I hope they keep the quality... but, until now, this book is definitely my favorite from all the ones that is in apps there is like this one.
