**** Well, fuck. Three hours already passed and I am stocked with the seventh one. The outline and the main idea of the story that I am reading were completely different from each other. The editor who did it changed everything that the author wrote. What the hell? I don’t even know who did it since the editor didn’t even signed. The author’s story is good and the edited one became completely different. I went outside and tried to ask. “Excuse me? Who edited this? A parody of Hell?” I tried to keep my calm but my peaceful feelings faltered when Kate answered.

Then I got up quietly and took the brown notebook to the kitchen and wrote for forty minutes without stopping. When I finished I read it back once. Closed the notebook. Made coffee. He appeared at seven. "You were up early," he said. "The vows came." He stopped. "All of them," he said. "The whole shape." I handed him his coffee. "I wrote for forty minutes." "Are they done?" "They need one more pass. But the bones are complete." I held my cup. "I won't read them again until August." "Why." "If I keep reading them I'll keep editing them." I paused. "They're right now. Editing after right is just noise."

As you can see the novel is with it’s first draft and I’m trying to make the editing, polishing and changes in the plot but it will take me like two days max to wind up all that. I have already made the changes but it has to be approved by the Editor so it will take two days. They only work on Weekdays and today is Saturday. Another thing is that I’m grateful for the time you are spending in reading my creation. It’s my first time writing anything and I hope that you enjoy reading it as I have enjoyed writing it.

No flourishes. No creativity. Just cold, hard facts. Nathaniel watched silently for a moment. Then, without a word, he took the paper, skimmed it, and nodded.

He looked at the Editor, his eyes burning with a dark, Northern cold. "My wife is a very thorough proofreader," Kaelen said, his voice returning with the force of a landslide. The Editor stood up, his face blurring even faster in his rage. "A footnote? You dare add a footnote to my Masterwork? I will shred the entire chapter!" He raised the giant pen like a harpoon, but before he could strike, the 'white space' around us began to fill with text. It wasn't the Editor's writing. It was small, messy, and golden.
