"Yeah.. shit I'm sorry.. here's a paper that tells you what you should do." I looked at the paper and started reading it. But then Shit.... I furrowed my brows, "this paper literally says "what you should do... "" "I know..." I smiled, "ahh.. I get the joke.." She nodded a bit, "yep.. that was the joke." This was awkward as fuck! If it was four years ago this would have been funny as fuck.. but now this shit was just awkward. I laughed a bit, "umh yeah it's funny.."

“Viv, what’s going on with you? What are you laughing about?” She kept laughing until tears rolled down her cheeks. She wiped the corners of her eyes continuously and tried to suppress her laughter to tell him, “I was joking with you. I heard a joke from my colleague today. She spoke about how fiancées are proposing break-ups with their fiancés. The fiancés answer with all sorts of strange replies. As a result, we made a pact to try it out with our partners when we got home.”

“Hey, I heard there's a team meeting. What did you find out?” “Who told you there was a team meeting?” Nathaniel asked, laughing. “The three of us are here, Wyatt is running, and Jena is practicing procreation.” The three of us laugh at his joke. He doesn’t talk a lot and jokes really aren’t his thing, but when he does it’s usually hilarious and at the expense of one of us and he will never let us live it down. Everyone else in the room looks at us like we are stupid, but we don’t care. We passed a lot of boring, uncomfortable nights like this.

“Only as serious as trying to keep our pack out of hot water can be. But enough about my top secret life. What about you, Luna? How’s life in this lovely den of drama and chaos?” I let out this massive sigh, probably a bit too dramatic, but hey, it’s me. “Oh, you know, just your typical small-town drama with a splash of ‘married to the Alpha because of a rune on my hand’ kind of thing. Living the dream, really.” Jennie snorts, trying to hold back a laugh, but then she decides to drop one of her infamous dad jokes. “Sounds like you’ve been having a rune-derful time, huh?” She raises her eyebrows, clearly expecting some appreciation for her terrible humor.

"Please don't tell me these jokes are in Lucas' book?" Shantelle asked. "No. No. I purposely searched them online to make you smile, Wifey," Evan said before adding, "What's so easy to get into but so hard to get out?"

He said it in a childish tone. "Oh really, but I though your name was Caleb." Jazz replied playing along. "Oh no, I am not Caleb. He disturbs people who want to be left alone but ME, I am Mr. Laughter people enjoy my company." "Oh really?" "Yes." He said it continuing the same innocent tone in his voice. "Shall I tell you a joke?" "Please go on." "Once there was an old man who died at a very young age hahaha..." He ended his short joke with his own laughter

Where all the confidence came from before I have no idea but I suddenly feel very naked. “Yeah, I wasn’t quite ready to meet the chain of my life so I thought that I would try breaking out of these first” He states. My head whips toward him as I arch my eyebrow wondering what he meant. When the joke finally hits me I guffaw with laughter as I brace my hands on my hips. He wiggles his eyebrows at me and I laugh harder than before. “That was a terrible joke” I say through my chuckling. “Oh yeah, I’ve been wracking up jokes to tell you for the last year. You just wait because they are going to get so much worse” He says as he smiles at me.
