Rivals Or Lovers
Didn’t say a word but I caught that faint twitch near his jaw, that was what he did when I had gotten under his skin.
I watched him for a bit, pretending to look elsewhere. I’d never been the kind of person who wanted to share a room with anyone. I liked my space — because I hate messy places, I love my silence, most especially I was used to my rules. But, I didn’t hate the idea of sharing a room, since it was Ryan. The thought of Ryan scowling every morning across the same room actually sounded… entertaining.
Earlier, if someone told me I would end up sharing a roof with another person, I would have found a way to switch places and keep a room to myself. Now? I didn’t even try.
