Novel Midtown Tampa Novels & Stories

What we’re being told through official channels is that a form of unidentified viral infection has struck Middletown. ‘They’ve all fallen asleep,’ Bridget told him, elaborating on what the reporter had said, giving him more information than the media would ever possess. ‘The whole place. The people in charge are calling it Anti-New York. You know, the city that never wakes.’ ‘It’s Midwich,’ he murmured. ‘No, Middletown,’ Bridget corrected. He gave a small shake of the head, even though she wasn’t there to see it. ‘I meant... Doesn’t matter.’ He knew his assistant’s reading tastes were more Jilly Cooper than John Wyndham, sadly.

the middle-aged white man inquired. “I hope everything is all right as well,” a familiar voice said behind her. Layla turned around to see the handsome stranger who she met at the auction. “Mr. Mitchell, right?” “Yes, but call me Carter,” he said with a sexy smile. Layla cleared her throat. “I have to say, I’m surprised to see you again. I figured you’d be back in . . . New York, was it?” “I decided to stay in Tampa for a little while to get a much-deserved break. I have a room here at the club.”

I replied with a roll of my eyes. Alpha Cadell held a ball in his very fancy, and extremely huge, mansion. He said it was a celebration for his arrival at the new town. I was sure it wasn't only that. "Just keep your manners. We will be in and out before you even know it." Morgana stressed, and nodded her head at some woman with a winged face mask. Did I mention that this is a masquerade? We live in Midwick, Virginia. A very small and very beautiful town, which one would feel was built right in the middle of the woods.

Right before I lost all consciousness, I saw those strange floating words in front of me again. [The side character has died such a tragic death. The villain will surely go crazy.] [My god! How could they do that to my favorite villain pairing? They are so much more believable than the main characters!] When I opened my eyes once more, the pain had completely vanished. I subconsciously looked at the clock on the wall. Midnight. Comments appeared in front of me again. [Don't open the window! There's no cat outside! It's a serial killer!]

"Lady Fiona, my I present to you my mate, Alpha Alexander of the north-eastern united states pack. And my Alexander, this is Lady Fiona that I've told you about." He bowed and took Fiona's hand, kissing it momentarily before placing his arm around his mate. "LUCY! You've found your mate!?!?!" Fiona was squealing and trying to resist jumping up and down. "And what a hunk? Where were you hiding Alpha?" Her eyes stayed on Luna Lucy while he described waking up in New York state in the Appalachian mountains a few years ago. Did he remember his life before? Probably not. Can you stop reading my mind? Can you stop thinking about how attractive these men and women are?

Every pack began to hear of the incredible child that had recently been born into the Midnight pack, placing the pack on high alert. Nine months passed and it seemed as though tension with other packs was starting to relax. They seemed to take the news of this child as a gift and not something to fear. Still, security around the small town of Atlas, the home of the Midnight pack, didn’t let up. Patrols were sent out every night, twice as many warriors as there used to be all to ensure the child was kept safe.

"First registration. Then restrictions. Then elimination." Nova refused to register. "If they want to control us, they will have to catch us first." She went underground. Three hundred other hybrids followed. The government sent hunters. But hybrids were too fast. Too smart. They evaded capture for months. Then years. The order was given. Lethal force authorized. The first hybrid was killed in Chicago. Shot while running. Her name was Maya. Nova's best friend. Nova felt something break inside her. "No more running," she told her resistance. "They want war? We give them war."

My mother raised him well, and obviously, he remembered and practiced it all even when he wasn’t living with my family. “Where are we going?” I asked. “Midfield,” he replied. Midfield was the new complex in the city. It had recreation areas, movie houses, and a shopping center. It opened to the public less than a year ago. I had heard about it but didn’t have the chance to check it out.

There is only one thing left to do, to hunt them down. IV Midwinter Town appeared over the horizon. Majestic tower touched the skies. Build in the side of the mountain, it was much easier to defend than a regular fortress, but still it need to be defended. Prince Yamato looked at the group that entered through the main gate. A group of stout lads, he wondered how many of them would die until this all was over. For the chances that there will be no deaths is equal to zero. And he knows this deep down. Sun Zhao, second-in-command, appeared from one of the buildings. “Spies, we have found spies.”
