Horn blares here and there. ‎at I'm not one of them anymore. ‎I haven't been for days. ‎Maybe I never even was. ‎ ‎The car glides through Manhattan like a shadow so silent and sure. The driver doesn't speak. Don't even spare a glance of me in the rearview mirror. Just drives like he's done this before. Like he's used to transporting ghosts. He's Damien's personal chauffeur. ‎ ‎432 Park Avenue rises into the sky like a monument to wealth and isolation. Thirty floors of steel and glass where rich people go to hide from the world.

Trust Upper East Siders to have their own private space away from us common folk. The park is an apt description of the area’s demographic, from bankers to trust fund babies who have never known what hard labor is. They’re walking around with their designer glasses and yapping puppies on leashes. I bet they don’t even bother to clean their dog’s shit, relying on the park employees to do their dirty work. A woman walks past us, dressed in a red Chanel dress and sun hat. She’s walking a dachshund that refuses to stop barking. She must know Jacob, because the minute she sees him, she strolls over to us.

Jackson said as he stared at Parker. They were both sitted on the cab. “Saint Lawson’s Street”. Jackson said to the taxi driver. Parker couldn't speak yet. FEW MINUTES LATER…. Jackson helped his poor dad get down the car,as the cab drove off. He stared at the big mansion , Jackson was still unaware of what they were doing at a mansion he had never seen before. Parker had requested inform of a written note that he needed to be there once he was discharged from the hospital.

It seemed like a nice place to cool off, so I made a mental note to go there before I made my escape from Eden City. In what seemed like half an hour later, Adam maneuvered the car into a big park where hundreds of cars were parked. "There isn't always enough space inside the centre, people are liters crawling all over the place" She explained. "So this park is reserved for all cars. C'mon, let's go, it's just a block away.' We got down as soon as Adam killed the engine. As we took few steps ahead, Sara looked back and saw Adam still waiting by the car.

CONRAD WILLIAM'S POV The car rolls to a stop, smooth and deliberate. I glance up, and for a second, I think he's playing another one of his cruel jokes. Because we're parked in front of Luna Park. The biggest amusement park in New York. Colourful banners sway in the drizzle, families hurrying through the gates, children squealing on the roller coasters in the distance. The scent of popcorn and rain hangs faint in the air. I stare. Then I turn to him, slowly.

Despite coming to the party in the car, it still amused me. I tried to steady my breath, but my hands still trembled slightly. The quiet purr of the engine hummed beneath me, so smooth and silent it felt almost unreal. Mr. Everhart sat beside me, his sharp profile unreadable. Finally, we turned off the main road and through the gates of an exclusive estate in Central Park South. The winding path was lined with perfectly manicured hedges and towering trees. At the center stood a grand villa.It was a house that didn’t just speak of wealth, it roared it.

“Aw, hell naw! He can’t be your baby daddy when you live in a place like this!” It took hours of convincing and another round for looking up the address and then driving. Soon enough, Parker found a nearby fast-food chain to park their inconspicuous black lower-end luxury car. She got off with Fred and went to get food to eat and some to-go for Andrea and her little girl. Even if they were one of the richest people in the world, Parker and Fred never had qualms about dining here.
