You can never really know people based on looks so the saying don't judge the book by its cover was legit. "I think we need a better plot than this." Kei suggested. The first plot point should not only move the story forward but should also provide an emotional foundation to justify your main character’s decision-making. Use the first plot point to change your character’s surroundings. Your first plot point provides an opportunity to take your protagonist to new surroundings. Sometimes this means sending them to a new world, while other times it means changing the characters who surround them. Either way, the first plot point is the moment that your protagonist leaves the everyday world laid out in the first chapter. In the Harry Potter series, Harry’s discovery that he is a wizard impels him toward Hogwarts to begin his new life of magic.

My fingers were cramping, my thesaurus was smoking, and I kept picturing my editor sending me an email with only one word: "Seriously?" I realized: I should just end it here, gloriously, before I completely lose my mind, break my keyboard, and start writing about the wallpaper pattern instead. Speaking of losing my mind... When I started outlining this story and figuring out the twists and turns, I came up with almost 60... maybe 50-something... different plot points and outlines just to keep the momentum going. Sixty! Fifty! I lost count! That's how dedicated I was to not making this story boring. That’s like a novella’s worth of rejected ideas!

"Are you thinking about your new novel? Haven't you got any idea about that yet?" Mi-hi shook her head sadly. The publishing company she was working with, had given her a couple of months to finish a novel with an unique romantic condensation. "What about you try a story about..... Mafia?" Dea suggested her obscurely and instantly kicked her in mind about telling her about that. What would she tell if Mi-hi wanted to know more? I felt sorry for their parents. While waiting for Carlo’s return, I also resume my writing to kill the waiting hours. The ending of my novel was only a few pages close. I just couldn’t decide how to slay it. I notice that the ending playing on my thoughts is too cliche. This is not right. It must be unique. I could cliffhang my readers or just give them an open ending, which could lead to a sequel in case it clicks to the majority. Sunlight was already peeking through the window. I stretched out my arms. I got up from my seat and opened the panes to let the wind in.

I had an idea and a plot, I was inspired by an article I found on Stockholm syndrome… that was why I found the Book 1 necessary to be written, so you can see the back story. I also added other character lives because I would love to be doing spin offs and I wouldn’t want to begin it with back stories of characters you already knew. I was really young when I started this book, with a lot of ideas for it but so little skill hence I wasn’t able to describe some scenes or emotions the way I had it in my head but this only goes to say I would be editing this book from the beginning. I actually thought it was a good idea to not write the main concept of the book in the introduction but turns out n

I literally wrote down the plot countless times to make sure I was steady of what I was writing, boy I even asked some of my friends to read my story to make sure everything was making sense! Yes so this government-training-3 months thing, was better plotted and I was happy to be able to put in my ideas inside and everything flowed well. But I was overthinking again that you readers would think it's confusing, so I decided to create this chapter.
