“Only if you read it out loud.” I raised a brow. “Really?” “Yeah,” he said, pulling me closer. “I like your voice. And I like the way your mouth moves when you’re focused.” I rolled my eyes, but my cheeks heated anyway. I reached over, grabbed the worn novel, and settled back on his chest. He rested one hand on my thigh and the other behind his head, looking completely at peace. I flipped to the first page and started reading. It was a story where a girl leaving a town that no longer felt like home, finding herself in unfamiliar places, learning how to build something new from all the pieces that used to hurt.

I'm starting a new novel! I'm so excited to share with you guys the other novel I've been plotting lately. Queen Of Ace What is this novel all about? =If you haven't read my first novel, His Fragile Flame, I uploaded in this app, this is only "a part" of it but can be read as "stand-alone". This story was written in different character's perspective and her back story before His Fragile Flame. You don't have to read the first book to understand this novel, and I think it's better if you read this before that because HFF has spoilers.

He looks proud. He is proud. That's when I realize... The wolves aren't here to hurt us... They're going to take us. To their lair. They are going to kidnap us. We won't be able to escape. Not this time. We have no herb left. The silver dagger is gone. It is hopeless. The white wolf grabs hold of me. Another takes the girl. We are dragged away. Dragged into the forest. Dragged to the pack. I know this is the alpha. That this is my new captor. That I've made it right back to the beginning. Not Romulus, but another alpha, just as bad.

“Now, if you'll let me, I would like to take a few books with me. Now, come let's get your wound bandaged up.” That is when I look down at my hands. At the way it is bleeding. I watch her as she takes the books that she wants. I never let anybody touch my books. But she is Nova. So why the fuck not? She turns back as she heads out of the library, like she wants to make sure that I am following her. I am right behind her. By the time we get to the room, she sets the books down carefully on the chair. “You haven't been to my room,” I say, and she looks over at me, as she fetches the first aid box from her bathroom.

For the first time, Cathedra had someone who didn't cringe every time she opened her mouth to speak. So this is what having a friend feels like, huh? Cathedra thought to herself. One lunch break, while waiting for Diane underneath the tree, Cathedra was scribbling a draft of her first novel in her notebook. The novel contained the scenes she saw in the storybook, back in her kindergarten days. Since that day at kindergarten, she didn't tell anyone what she saw in the storybooks anymore. The thought of seeing things that other people couldn't still terrified her but she tried hard not to think about it by avoiding any book she can see other than school books and textbooks.

Novella decided to put on a show and touch herself. Van creeped out and he walked back to his room. That night Novella planed to steal Van from Ezra. She didn't want to see anyone happy but herself. She was convinced that it was a just and noble thing to do because Van was looking at her but that was a lie.

She instructed her best friend and rushed to the bathroom. "What's this?" Tasha found something on her desk. she picked up the booklet and turned the pages, "A new novel?" she exclaimed. "Wait!" Arielle shouted from the bathroom, she had the habit to write it down instead of typing her stories, she used her gift to write 2-3 chapters of her new novel last night before going to bed. She rushed out with the toothbrush still on her hand. "Give that to me." "Nope. You're writing a new novel? A romance novel at that?" Tasha ran around the room reading the notes.

Ava stood in the doorway and looked at the girl now curled up on her side, eyes closed but not asleep. She was quiet. But Ava could see the tension in her shoulders. She’d seen it in the mirror too many times to miss. The fear of being used again. Of being named by someone else. Of being claimed. She stepped back out and closed the door halfway. Then she looked at Nova. “We end the narrative before it starts.” Nova nodded. “How?” she asked. Ava’s voice was calm. “We let her speak for herself.”

He searched through my study, trying to steal the password to the core business vault. However, I was already on guard. He spent half a month and found nothing. Since he couldn’t get the core secrets out of me, he changed his strategy. That night, before we got into bed, he handed me a pill. He leaned close to my ear, coaxing, “Anna, this enhances pleasure. Take it, and tonight you’ll feel unprecedented bliss.” I took the glass. After years of surviving in the family, I immediately recognized that the pill had a banned substance added to it.

And in the past few days, I finally felt that I was powerless when I was around her. No matter in the past or now, when I am bored, I always like to use novels to kill time and find resonance in novels. Shelby became busy again. She told me that there will be a design competition in two months and she is preparing for it. People will always be emotionally affected by things around them. Just like yesterday, I started a narrative novel with a sad theme. When I finished reading it at night, my whole body was exuding negative energy. I couldn't laugh, but I still answered: “It looks good.”
