The Path Less Traveled

The Path Less Traveled

I know exactly what I'm going to do I just need to run it pass Zeus, the Alpha, and Luna. VENUS P.O.V........ He just stood there lost in thought and confusion as I walked away. A little part of me felt awful. But after hearing what the moon goddess said I knew it was the right thing. Who and what I am. Those words kept repeating in my brain over and over again. Not because I'm surprised but because I knew there was more to me. I have always felt like I was ment to do something of a higher purpose. That was the reason I was traveling for a year. I knew my journey and answers would start in Greece. From there I had no idea. I somehow knew I would be led in the direction I needed. It was as i

BUNGLED

BUNGLED

He was going over it again and again, trying to recall that important thing that was bugging him. His breathing was deep, his concentration in his safety, his body needed some rest. After three hours he slowed down at the side of the road. He pulled out the map and checked the coordinates. He was on the right track. Wearied, he closed his eyes. The memories came flooding in. He imagined Tessa then Kate made some comparisons and decided that his heart ticked more at Tessa. Would she follow me to the US if I invited her? Would she be willing to accept my invitation, travel, and leave her job? These intriguing questions were interspersed with the reality he was now facing. He started the car ag

A Second Life Inside My Novels

A Second Life Inside My Novels

"The merchant decided to go home but was caught up in a terrible snowstorm. He tried to seek shelter against the largest tree he can find and try to fall asleep but with the howls of wild animals plus the deadly cold, the poor man couldn't bear to fall asleep." Cathedra realized she had been holding in her breath by the time Miss Yumi flipped to the next page. It was morning now, but still the grounds were covered in snow that it was hard to tell the path to home. "By the help of the sunlight, the merchant noticed an enormous castle within walking distance. Deciding to take his chances, he set off for the heavy metal gates surrounding the castle and went in."

Torn From The Bond

Torn From The Bond

Afterall, the woman they were looking for wasn’t pregnant, neither had she added a few pounds of weight. I had survived the past seven months travelling from one small town to the other and I was beginning to discover that there was a whole new world outside what I believed. I glanced at the high road beyond me and sighed. Between the past seven months, I had become a vagabond and wanderer. I had no clear destination in mind. I simply went where the other rogues went. Thankfully, they always got the most legit information about where to scavenge food. “Move your ass,” someone hissed behind me, breaking my train of thoughts. “Don’t you think this is a dangerous place for a pretty girl like yo

Tragic Novel? I'll Turn It Into a Power Trip

Tragic Novel? I'll Turn It Into a Power Trip

When I opened my eyes, I found myself holding an exquisitely wrapped sandwich. Whispers immediately drifted into my ears. "Look, Jacob Blake's here again delivering breakfast to Carol." "He seriously has no shame. She already said she doesn't like him, but he still won't give up." "Exactly! Carol and Matt are obviously the perfect couple!" I froze for two seconds before a flood of memories suddenly crashed into my mind. I, the invincible hero of a power-fantasy novel, had actually transmigrated into the role of a pathetic simp side character in a trashy romance novel.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

“18th of November, Year 1534. Truly a fascinating matter, the earth-sky experimentation and a chance mistake made me discovered an elf! Not just any elf but an elf priestess who was lost and trapped into a boulder of darkness amid the storms. She is very lucky to have met me, the protagonist of this era!” “9th of January, Year 1522. I have transmigrate to this world for more than a week! I now in the body of Katelyn Gustav. I finally got isekai holy damn! But my isekai trip was weird, it wasn’t truck-kun but a stab from a freaking hoodlum! I have to write something down and describe the things I have encounter, or else I would go crazy.

The Servers

The Servers

Something intoxicating in which a young boy who was not fond of Books, but missed the smell of grass in the summer, dust on the road, and rusty steel from the old buildings he used to pass by; could only imagine what it looked like with the help of a thick layer of papers compacted into a whole. The traveller was escorted by a talkative tree, about 90 feet tall and with a 4.8 millimeter bark thickness. It was a heavy one although it could walk easily with its roots which became its feet; multiple limbs of every size. The traveller lived in a strange world for more than 30 years of his life since he was born. He was the only human on the planet. His origin was unknown, and his journey was his

The Drifter's Memoir of a Second Life

The Drifter's Memoir of a Second Life

I asked with a calmness and maturity that didn't suit my age. Carl appeared surprised even as he took the candy, unpeeled the wrapper, and put it in his mouth. "Hmm. It's so sweet." He smiled pleasantly, studying me before asking, "What's your name?" "The caretaker said my name is Yvie…" "Yvie…" He breathed the syllables and nodded. "Would you like to come home with me? As my granddaughter?" Silence ensued all around us, and every other child was staring at me jealously.

Jyotsna and the ghost of the lost traveler

Jyotsna and the ghost of the lost traveler

There was a scraping noise and Jyotsna said, “It’s like something heavy is being dragged” They looked at each other. Jyotsna couldn’t throw away the thoughts about vampires. She remembered Anwar saying to her about “bhulo’s” – ghost of lost travellers luring other travellers to their certain doom. Suddenly a pair of bright golden orbs came to life in the distance. They were floating two feet above the ground and swaying slightly. She was rooted to the spot, unable to move. Her lips trembled and the hairs on her spine rose up. A terrible thought came in her mind. What if they were lured by a bhulo? A swift wind ruffled her hairs and she started to cry, bawling at the top of her lungs.
