The Howling Throne

The Howling Throne

"The Veil is breaking. That was its cry." Elior tightened his grip around the Second Crown, his mind racing. The Hall of Kings had given them an answer, but not a solution. The First King had locked something away with the Crowns, but the key. The key was still missing. No. Not missing. Stolen. "The Forgotten Hand took the key," he muttered. "Back in Dawnfire. They knew before we did. They’ve had it all this time." Rael exhaled sharply. "And now, they're using it."

My Neighbour's Wife

My Neighbour's Wife

“You see, that’s where you got it wrong, Sue. I wasn’t asking.” My pulse spikes, hands going clammy as dread knots in my stomach. His fingers tap the box once in a silent command. My body betrays me as I reach for it, snapping the lid open. Confusion furrows my brows when I see what’s inside. A key. Black, metallic, sleek, with a pentagon-shaped head and a single letter etched into the surface: Z, slashed through the center with a bold line. “What...” My voice disappears.

The Ninth Cipher

The Ninth Cipher

Not from outside. From deeper within. A massive shadow slowly crossed the sea of lights. Every newborn story dimmed as it passed. The white feather returned to Adrian's hand. This time... it transformed once again. Not into a book. Not into a pen. Into a simple white key. Elias stared at it in disbelief. "The Final Key..." "I thought it had vanished forever." A deep voice echoed across the infinite Archive. Calm. Ancient. Impossible to ignore. "The Gate of Origins is ready to open."

His Queen of Chaos

His Queen of Chaos

I'd come out to the breakfast bar and set the small brass key on the marble between us like a card played face-up, and I'd watched him look at it and understand it before I said a word. There's a safe deposit box, I'd said, keeping my voice in the flat careful register, two lawyers stipulating facts. Box eleven forty-seven. The key was in his Bible. I've been carrying it since the third day I was here. A breath. I didn't tell you because I didn't know if you'd use whatever's in it to bury him deeper or to bury me. And Malik had looked at the key for a long moment, and then at me, and he'd said the fairest thing anyone had ever offered me.

My Shattered World

My Shattered World

They suspected something was up and they watched for any sign that I carried something valuable. I didn’t… yet. Not really. My tablet would be considered valuable, of course. But the really valuable things weren’t what they would expect. I was after three things… keys. The three missing control keys that could save the world. My first destination was the place where Janice disappeared to. She was supposed to get to the bunker and insert her key, but for whatever reason, she never made it. I had to find her, or, failing that, get her key. There was a risk that the key was in the hands of criminal lords, but as far as we knew, no one else knew exactly what they were. Chances were, it had been

The Dark Wolf At My Service : His Nemesis

The Dark Wolf At My Service : His Nemesis

He assured again. Right, Alex is the villain of the book. She must have forgotten cause he is locked up as Elijah said. All these made sense but deep down, her heart was still disagreeing with what he said. What is happening to her? Why did she suddenly feel bad when he said the villain have being locked away? She had many unending questions that would never be answered cause she was the only one who has the answer. "Very well then. I apologize for distracting your meeting. You can go on." She said warmly and left the room.

Once Upon An Alpha

Once Upon An Alpha

I was desperate. One cold winter day, when my Mama and Papa were out feeding our animals, Aisling and I finally found my key. The whispers had been more helpful than average that day. They told me to check the floor. Dangling on a piece of twine underneath a loose floorboard by our parents’ bed. It was a beautiful brass skeleton key with filigrees etched into the bow. Something was different about the key, though. It didn’t look like any other skeleton key I had seen. The teeth looked like a small crescent moon.

This story is so good!! The author seems to put time and effort behind their characters!! And while peoples choices can be frustrating, baby beta looking at you, they all make sense with how the story is progressing and what’s happened! Couldn’t recommend this book enough!
Space Cow
I love this book. The author has created a wonderful world with well thought characters that I actually care about. The characters aren't perfect, they each have their own flaws and personalities. Each of them have grown in their own ways.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

A physical memory of the struggle. "There's another way," I said, my voice turning cold and hard. "Kaima, there isn't time—" Rowan started. "The Librarian said the Key was a sacrifice," I said, stepping toward the desk. "But she didn't say it had to be a **person**. She said it had to be a 'Story.'" I grabbed the golden key. It felt hot, like a live coal. "What are you doing?" the Glitch asked, her voice trembling.

The Billionaire’s Bride

The Billionaire’s Bride

But the darkness was relentless, replenishing itself from the very fabric of the corrupted library. Just as exhaustion began to threaten their defenses, Maya felt a surge of energy flow from the key. A single, intricate symbol blazed to life on the key's surface, echoing an image from one of the scrolls. With a desperate lunge, she focused all her remaining energy on the symbol, channeling the key's power into the chamber.

The Alpha Twins Unwanted Bride

The Alpha Twins Unwanted Bride

They came for the book. The language in the book is foreign and no one knows how to read it. Hera examined the book and opened a few pages to see if they find anything useful, but they found nothing. Just when she was about to close the book, Isaac saw something familiar on one page. "Wait" he stopped Hera from closing the book so that he could take a closer look at the picture. It's the picture of an old key in rose gold colour. One end is engraved into wards to fit the particular lock, and the other side has an oval stone attached to it.
