November Writing Challenge

Sophie is speech impaired; she communicates by writing on pieces of paper, and as such, she carries a notebook along with her wherever she goes. She was able to clearly express her anxiety and pain through these papers, sometimes through text messages too. It is fascinating that whenever she goes out, she doesn’t appear to be a pitiable figure. Sophie is bold and clever, and she is an enthusiastic being. She is a baker, and she owns her shop. Sophie’s voice is a great weapon, and there is a lot to her central figure. People assume that she has been mute from birth, but her condition was the aftermath of the sexual abuse she received from Mr. Adrian, her uncle, at the age of 12, and her aunt, Mrs. Eliana, feels shadowed by societal analysis, so she keeps quiet about it. Sophie decided to fight and survive, and she always chose to pick shattered pieces of herself broken.

Atzi lived a pretty peaceful life and loved it very much, but there was something that troubled Atzi constantly. Atzi only felt something that was like a hole inside her. Going home, Atzi hears a commotion coming from the nearby treeline. Her curious nature led her to an injured husky dog. she takes the dog in and decides to keep him as her pet after being unsuccessful in finding his owners, unaware of who she really has in her hands. Over the course of a few weeks, she treats the husky like any other dog: Motus feels instant humiliation and plans to leave. He at times senses a weak power inside her. On a nightly walk, Motus catches the scent of something all too familiar to him; Thinking they are coming from him, he slips away. He soon realizes it's not him they are after..but Atzi. He suddenly had a strong pull towards this female that is very rare. He rushes back to see her body glowing. He now knows she's who he's been searching for. As for Atzi, her empty feeling starts to feel more filled the longer she's around. Could this be who she was missing?

Royston. It was my first book, and it wasn't long until I came to hate it! (Please, don't look it up - I promise you, it's terrible) So here we are, years later, and I've decided to throw out my original work, and re-write it. Because I'm the author, and I can do that. The story, characters, and settings are the same - but the writing style is different, and in my opinion, much, much better. I hope you enjoy it. ****
