Jack continued to guide the smaller fireball ahead of Lexi as he ran to catch up to her, flicking his knife out. The tunnel opened up on the sides. As the fire lit the room, small furry spiders lurched forward after them. Lexi jumped over one in her path. As Jack approached, the spider lunged up in the air at him. He swung his arm out in front, the knife jutting from the palm of his hand. It hit the spider in the middle of its eyes. It screamed as the knife crunched and slid into its surface. Small bits of blue blood seeped out of the wound as the spider fell away to the side. Jack continued forward. The other spiders hissed their disapproval and skittered after them.

He says. "Now. I want you to get out of this car and place everything you're hiding on your body in front of you where I can see them." He instructs but I don't move. "You can move closer." He instructs into his earpiece and I instinctively look around. Flashing lights from another car appear and stops behind us. Another man with brown hair stops and moves to the back. I look between the car and the man beside me who holds a smirk. "I believe we haven't officially met. I'm the Spider." He says making my head fully snap to him.

Zack stood there, drenched, his face a mix of shock and humiliation. “You little…” he started, but before he could finish, Spider appeared out of nowhere. “Problem, sir?” Spider’s voice was casual, but the glint in his eye said otherwise. Zack froze. He knew better than to mess with Spider. Everyone in this club did. “Nothing,” Zack muttered, wiping at his shirt with a napkin. “Just… an accident.” “Good,” Spider said with a lazy smirk. “Accidents happen a lot around here. Especially to people who don’t know when to shut up.”
