“Again?” She gripped his hand hard and followed his confident stride up the beach, her eyes scanning around them constantly. Niarthen was leading them towards where the beach was more populated and she felt her cheeks heat in embarrassment. However, beyond the grandparents indulgently watching over the young, others simply strolled out of the water, as bare as she and Niarthen were other than the woven reed basket cages that they carried.
“What’s in the baskets?” She asked Niarthen.
