I yelled before it was too late. I prayed in my heart that he shouldn’t be high! What if he kills me? What if everyone is literally high and I die cause no one saved me!!! He put me to stand on the narrow walk way above the water, smiling slyly. I could literally feel my face melt. “oh jeez!” I palmed my cheek. It looked like I was walking on water. The Walk way was made of glass so it was transparent. “what’s with you Rosa. You’re boring!” he whined making a face. I smiled half afraid and I wanted to turn back and run in case he’d push me in..

She saw freedom stitched into sequins and dreams that stretched beyond the horizon. Her throat tightened. Could she really do it? Could a girl from Umuaka truly step into that world? She lifted the heavy pot onto her head and began the long walk home. The road was uneven, dust clinging to her ankles, but each step carried the rhythm of determination. The chatter of women, the laughter of children, the creak of cart wheels — all of it blurred into a distant hum. Promise focused only on the sound of her own breathing, as though the world itself was daring her to endure its weight.

Some students are still walking around ,some sitting somewhere in groups chatting and pla-ying. She heard about a water somewhere In here but she haven’t seen it so she will just try to figure it out. Minutes later,she got to where the water is. “Wow,,finally” Alice said excitedly and ran toward it,,it’s flowing,looking so clean too. But the moment she got there,a figure was sitting on one of the rocks.

A sound much similar to the flowing waters of a gentle stream filled the ears of every Walker as a large river of blood engulfed the desert. The river was several meters long and stretched as far as the eye could see, going beyond the confines of the desert and even extending to the land after it! It truly was a sea, for it had no end and no beginning. It was as vast as it was deep. The Walkers began to slowly sink into the thick, viscuous sea of blood. They tried to resist the fall but couldn’t do anything other than prolong their inevitable fate.

"Think about how we will go home from here. It's getting dark. We need to get out of this damn jungle. Otherwise, today we will become food for the wild animals." She looked at me with wide eyes asking me with her eyes. 'Really!' And I nod my head affirmatively. "Let's find a way out of the forest." I nodded and we began walking hand in hand. "Rory, I'm feeling thirsty." Amy stopped on her track and exclaimed, holding her hips. "We don't have water. I don't think we will get water anywhere near here." I said helplessly. While walking for a few minutes I heard the sound of water. I looked at Amy who also looked at me at the same time. A smile breaks through our lips in happiness.

I intend to invite her to get water too. "I heard she went there too earlier." She added a smaller bucket. "Find her and bring water in a bucket each." I nodded my head, of course I would bring water in the smallest bucket. Let Alpha Rexton and Matilda carry the water with medium sized buckets. When I walked towards the river, apparently not only me but several neighbors also went with buckets in their hands. This means that not only my house is short of water, their house also definitely has no water. "Are you alone, Amelie?"

The big man went back to Prince Lam with a sad face, "The school stopped the water!" Hearing this, Prince Lam almost fainted: “Supermarket, go buy water at the supermarket!” "Yes, Your Highness!" 2 men run out to the supermarket. Everything in here seemed so wealthy and totally opposite to my country, it's like a paradise here! The beauty of this country made me miss my hometown...everything here seemed perfectly flawless that it made me crave for flaws...I put my face close to the river and took little sips of water. Wow! He sometimes wondered how he became the king's right-hand man. Chirping sounds of crickets could be heard. The croaking of the frogs seemed to be getting louder as she walked. She was finally about to give up. She didn't know how long she has been walking for. She had already ran out of water too. There is a thing in life that is somewhat like water. We drown in it, fall in it, and can't live without it. That little thing we call love. ✾ A week has passed and the only thing I made that was remarkable was finding a source of water for the town. Kofi was helping me teach the others on how to do it. Still though, even with the knowledge of finding water from mud, the well will still dry out. Especially now when it seems like it rarely rains. That’s why my mission for today is to find a place where we can get water.
