Oblivion Gods Novels & Stories

I snap in a snarky tone. “Fair point, I shall continue to refill your glass then.” “Thank you,” I say as I take another sip, then take another deep breath as my foot taps anxiously against the footrest of my stool. “So, this new God…” “His name is Azadou. God of Malice also known as the Demon God, and the creator of the eyti,” they explain, walking over and placing a plate in front of me along with a fork, but despite the dish looking absolutely delicious, the thought of food entering my stomach right now makes me want to hurl.

Duties bound him here—even if every instinct screamed to leave. Without another word, Elysia vanished in a thunderous sonic crack, streaking across the sky toward the epicenter. The other Gods of War followed her immediately, tearing through the heavens one after another. The arena fell into stunned silence. Crystal Kirk gripped the railing tightly, her sharp mind racing. Pavan stood beside her, jaw clenched. They did not need divine senses to know that something was deeply wrong. When every God of War abandoned a tournament mid-judgment, it meant the scale of what had occurred was beyond mortal comprehension.

Iblis had a strange dream. In this dream, he was the God of Death, and his wife, Shamsiya Moore, was the Goddess of Life. Their first meeting was explosive. Literally. Separated by gender, the Gods and Goddesses in the Ethereal Realm lived in different regions. When they entered the Tower of Gods for the first time, they came from opposite directions. With every step, flowers bloomed at Shamsiya's feet, while the ones beneath his wilted to ashes. Butterflies and light fairies danced in the thick coil of her obsidian mane, as every living creature 10 feet within his radius succumbed to death.

"This part talks about the others. The things that came before angels and demons. It calls them 'the Dreaming Wounds.' Entities that were never supposed to wake." Lucian's spine straightened. "And one of them?" "Here." She tapped the page. A single word etched in jagged red ink: Nihareth. Lucian tasted the name in the back of his throat, like blood. Kairis turned another page, revealing an inked drawing: a crude sketch of a burning city, and a tall figure with hollow eyes standing amidst the flames. The glyph for Oblivion was scrawled above it. "The book says Nihareth was the last of the Wounds to fall asleep. He walked through the outer gates when the world was still forming. They say his b

“So, is this being the creator of everything?” “His name gives rise to the infinity of creatures and existing plans,” Elara added. “That's why there are sub-guardians of balance, like reclusive witches, the oracle who predicts the thread of life, and the gods with higher roles in creating their species.” “Everything is carefully, or at least it should be, created in a balanced way...” Morgana sighed. “The curse of the beast and all the deaths were not foreseen; the legend was not supposed to exist in this realm, but the rebellious gods wanted to be greater than the creator; they tampered with the structure of destiny, something forbidden.”

Every nightmare. Apophis, god of chaos. Lilith, the original she-demon. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Whiro, god of darkness. Lamashtu, child-devouring Mesopotamian terror. Gods. Demons. Monsters. Twisted relics of faith. The sheer evil in this room chokes the air, and if we had lungs, I doubt we could breathe. Loviatar hasn’t told us why we’re here. Just that this “meeting” will help restore our strength. She promised vengeance. I believed her.

“So is there no way in, or should we find a plane and fly straight there?” “It doesn’t work like that! The so-called interior does not refer to the mountains inside Helsby Mountain,” explained Blind Ivan. “There is a legend that there is an enchantment in the area.” “An enchantment?” Carwyn exclaimed. “According to the legend, there have been Gods on the earth before,” Carwyn said, surprised. “The Gods are capable of shattering and even creating space. The enchantment is the space created by the Gods.” “Do you mean that there is a space created by the Gods inside Helsby?”

The pull—not from beneath, but above. The sky split open again, silver bleeding into red. And through it came a sound I hadn’t heard since before the fall. A howl. Low. Endless. Divine. The kind that didn’t belong to wolves. Julian’s voice was a whisper. "What is that?" I lifted my head slowly. "A god remembering it’s hungry." The horizon flickered. Behind the silver clouds, something vast was moving—a presence the size of mountains, dragging light with every breath. The old gods were not dead after all. They were simply waiting for someone to call their name.

The cold water hit my skin but all I could feel was the heat building inside me. In the dream, I pulled out, flipped him over with his face down on the bed. Ass up. His shorts ripped away and skin bare. I spread his cheeks, licked him there and his moans filled the room. "Please," he begged. "Kieran... my god..." Yes. God. I was his God. I fucked my fist faster, water streaming down my chest an back. I leaned against the tile. Head tipped up. Moaned his name low. "Ezra..."

Anubis’ gaze flicked to Maru. “How dare you demand my lord for help?” Maru muttered under his piercing gaze. “You’re a deity,” Ivana said, meeting his eyes. “Aren’t you supposed to help humans?” Anubis’ lips curved into a dark, humorless smile. “You’re amusing, mortal. Do deities worship humans? Or is it the other way around?” “I’ll do anything, please,” Ivana begged, her hands trembling. “I just want to know where my parents are.”
