The Alpha’s Barren Pup

The Alpha’s Barren Pup

There would be no ignoring or sweeping aside this intrusion as a mere temporary inconvenience to be crushed under my authority's heel like so many impudent fools before it. The implications of this corruption's magnitude, its far-reaching nature already seeded into the very marrow of my ascendant dynasty...they were staggering to comprehend. Entire lineages and ancestral powers which I had taken for granted as inevitably subordinate to my bloodline's supremacy now felt hopelessly inadequate. "Alpha?" Talon rumbled in an undertone heavy with dread uncertainty. "What are your commands? How do we proceed against such an...insidious, ineffable threat?" For once the bloody-handed enforcer's eyes

Chasing His Ex-wife Back

Chasing His Ex-wife Back

Cornered men with too much pride rarely surrendered; they detonated. The city outside her window glittered innocently, unaware of the private war being fought in encrypted emails and shadowed transactions. Each light out there was a life untouched by Abbas’ greed, but Evelyn knew how quickly corruption could spread. Her hands hovered over the keyboard, fingertips trembling slightly — not from fear, but from the sheer intensity of focus. She was playing a game where one wrong keystroke could mean exposure, retaliation, or worse. Sebastian broke the silence first. “He’s bleeding resources faster than he can hide them,” he said, scanning the lines of data. “You’ve pushed him into a corner.”

A Kingdom of Corruption and Chaos

A Kingdom of Corruption and Chaos

I honestly didn't know what to say to that, because he wasn't wrong, but at the same time, it was such a bleak outlook on things that I wanted to say that he was wrong. "So that's why you're here, trying to find a cure for the corruption, right? To change things for the better?" "I want to find the cure, yes, but I can't promise that anything will change if I do. There will always be wrong in the world, there will always be corrupt rulers, and just because it may or may not fix one problem doesn't mean it will change everything. We don't know if the people who are left are too far gone for help, their minds are just as damaged by the corruption as their bodies are, and we don't know that it'

Moonbound: The Alpha's Claim

Moonbound: The Alpha's Claim

“If he were completely gone, this would be easier.” Elena stood slowly on the steps. “You keep saying that.” “Because it’s true.” “No,” she replied gently. “It’s easier for everyone except him.” Damien opened his mouth, then stopped because she was right. The silence stretched just long enough to become uncomfortable before Roland spoke again. “The corruption reacted more violently tonight than it did with Theron.” Gail nodded grimly. “It’s adapting.” Elena looked toward the sealed door again. “No. It’s afraid.”

One Night Stand With My Boyfriend’s Twin

One Night Stand With My Boyfriend’s Twin

“The bloodlines were real. The trials were sanctioned. The cover-ups were deliberate.” Corrine shifted. “You’re admitting to genetic fraud?” “I’m admitting to empire fraud,” I said. “The Petrov name was a performance. A perfectly rehearsed one, with a thousand dead beneath the stage. That ends now.” Roman narrowed his eyes. “And who replaces it? Her?” “No,” I said. “Her truth replaces it. Not her name.” Corrine sat forward. “Are you stepping down?” “Yes.” The room froze. “You’re giving up the throne?” Roman asked, disbelief clear in his voice.

Fractured

Fractured

The thread itself retreated, sinking back into the earth like a worm avoiding light. Her stomach lurched. This was not simple corruption. Not the blind rot she’d fought when the forest first began to wither. This felt deliberate. Adaptive. It was growing in the places where their power had sunk deepest. “Mirra?” Selene’s voice brushed the edge of her mind, cool and sharp. “Your pulse just spiked. What happened?” Mirra forced her breathing to slow, pressing her hand over the spot where the filament had vanished. The soil there was cold. Too cold.

Bound to the Enemy’s Bed

Bound to the Enemy’s Bed

“Honored council, Rhovan speaks of duty. Let us speak of truth.” Though softer than his, her remarks were just as effective in cutting through the whispers. The runes glowed dimly at her boots as she moved forward into the circle. “He says this tribunal is about corruption. He is right. But the corruption does not come from the bond between Alpha Draven and myself. It comes from those who wield law as a weapon for their own ambition.” A ripple surged through the chamber. Some leaned forward. Some frowned. And Rhovan’s eyes, dark and sharp, narrowed.

I've only read 15 chaps so far, but this is a good piece. Though I think it needs a bit editing, but it's still a loveable story. I love the MC and her personality, more to rational and realistic. Hope MC won't end with the prince or other 'fishes', but still have her happy ending. Good job, Author~

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The Immortal Emperor Returns

They couldn't speak anymore. "Immortal Emperor Antiquity, I suspect that some of these people have been bribed by the Immortals. Their words can't be trusted. I'll interrogate them later," No Face said. The Immortal Emperor Antiquity snorted and said, "All those who collude with the Immortals deserve to die." No Face laughed. He was so proud. He looked at the flying ship and said, "Immortal Emperor Antiquity, please kill all the evil people of the Immortals on this ship."
